‘Kate Plus 8’: Kate Makes a Bold Move That Shocks Her Family
Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin did something over the weekend that left her eight children and ex-husband Jon Gosselin shocked. The move she pulled was unexpected and surprised many former fans. However, they were not nearly as stunned as her two estranged children Collin Gosselin and his sister Hannah Gosselin.

Collin and Hannah Gosselin graduated high school over the weekend. It is a very special time in their lives. There to root them on was their father Jon Gosselin. But, what really threw the siblings off was to see that their estranged mother was also in the audience to share their big day.
Fans of the former TLC star’s family reality series know that the exes suffered through a nasty divorce and an even nastier custody battle over their eight children.
The former couple are the parents of twins, Mady Gosselin and Cara Gosselin, 22. They also share 19-year-old sextuplets, Leah Gosselin, Alexis Gosselin, Joel Gosselin, Aaden Gosselin, Hannah Gosselin, and Collin Gosselin.
He has full custody of Collin and Hannah, and Kate has custody of their other six children. She has been estranged from her two children for some time. So to see her show up for their high school graduation ceremony over the weekend was overwhelming for them.

Sources close to the family say that Hannah has recently reconnected with her mother. So, it was known that there was a strong possibility that their mom would show up for the ceremony. However, to see her actually go through with it was something else.
He arrived at the ceremony with his daughter Hannah and son Collin driving his son’s flashy convertible. The siblings wore red cap and gown ensembles for their Pennsylvania high school graduation.
The former spouses did not speak at the event. Nor did the Kate Plus 8 mom speak to her son Collin Gosselin. This had to have been awkward for all family members. Jon Gosselin did not want to spoil the kids’ big day. So according to the family source, they avoided each other and remained on opposite ends of the building.
He was described as one proud dad as he watched two of his eight children reach a major milestone in their lives. Following the ceremony, they returned to their house where he threw a graduation celebration barbecue for their family and friends.
Does Kate Mom Have a Hidden Agenda?
It is no secret that Jon and Kate Plus 8 star’s nasty divorce and bitter custody battle left all eight of their children scarred. He said in a previous interview that he had not spoken with twins, or his other four children in a long time. He also stated because of this he had no plans to attend their graduation ceremony, even though it pained him to miss it.
Jon Gosselin also said his door is always open to all of his children. Since Hannah decided she wanted to mend fences with her four siblings and her mom obviously felt comfortable attending the ceremony. Jon says he would never interfere if the kids wanted to reconcile. But her followers are not sure she will ever feel the same about him.
Now that they have ended their 14-year-long custody battle he finally feels like he can move on with his life. As for what Kate is up to these days. Reports say that she lives a normal life in North Carolina out of the spotlight and works as a nurse.
However, rumors claim that she may be looking to return to reality television. Now that the kids are all grown, she feels a new family reality series could be gold.
But, this is all speculation, and nothing has been confirmed either way. However, some of her followers feel that if the rumors hold true, the Kate Plus 8 star may have a hidden agenda when reuniting her family.
