‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Says He’s Embarrassed by New Season?
Sister Wives star Kody Brown seems worried about what this new season is about to reveal after he allowed cameras to film more than usual. He thought they’d get honest about relationships. Remember his Sister Wives motto – “Love should be multiplied and not divided?” But it sounds like their math includes a lot of problems focusing on division these days.

The Sister Wives ladies as well as their shared husband appeared very unhappy in the new season opener. But it seems Kody decided to explain just where this comes from. So, he reached out in his own words to the folks who watched the TLC series this week. What Kody Brown said might cause you to lift an eyebrow or two.
After the first episode from this new season aired on Sunday, viewers sounded shocked. They passed along in their comments how all this sadness stunned them. Then, of course, many Sister Wives viewers agreed they became a little bored as well.
But the “boring” critiques center on that one stretched-out meal of misery. Although the audience witnessed how no one, including Kody, came with any happy thoughts to that dinner table.
Apparently, Kody watched and realized how they appeared to the followers. This is probably why he said in a recent interview that this season is hard for him to watch. After the new season opener aired, he reached out to fans. So, this could be the reason.
Separation Is What The Ladies Wanted?
Kody Brown claims what you see on the screen is the result of the wives and their “emotional need to be separate”. According to Kody Brown, that’s it in a nutshell. There lies the reason they moved from that one-house in Utah and branched out into four homes in Vegas.
The Sister Wives patriarch went on to say that these words were “not stated, but felt”. Still, he said it was “obvious” just by watching their behavior. Then he offered this shout-out to fans this week as if he needed to make them understand.
The unhappiness at this Sister Wives table seemed contagious. Not one of these five adults seems to be immune to the sadness. But it got worse. It seemed to escalate once Christine shared how she felt everyone at that table hated her.
Then of course a good dinner of discontent wouldn’t be complete without Robyn Brown crying. And… she did. Her sad tune came from her thoughts that everyone blames her for joining this family. As she believes joining the ended up kick-starting their last decade of unhappiness.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Not the Root of All Evil?
The new Sister Wives season is only one episode in and they shared a lot with the audience already. But when Kody Brown says that he’s not looking forward to the remaining episodes playing out, he has a reason. So, you can pretty much surmise there’s more of this to come.
One thing Kody said during a recent Sister Wives interview with ET, he is worried about how he looks after some of the scenes. He’s concerned that he might be painted on a deteriorating canvas.
