‘Sister Wives’: Is Kody Brown Moving His Family – Flagstaff Too Expensive to Build?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown grew quiet on social media over the last few months but that suddenly changed this week with several new tweets. Now it seems he’s throwing out some hints to the Sister Wives followers. If for nothing else, looking at what Kody Brown finds interesting on social media seems to offer more of an insight into this shared husband.

Recent reports put two of the Sister Wives rented homes on the market, with one already under new ownership. Robyn Brown’s home is reportedly sold and Meri Brown’s rental property is also reported to be for sale. While that might not mean a thing to these two Sister Wives renters if the new owners continue to rent them the property.

But there’s also a chance a new owner for either property could request the Sister Wives vacate the premises. But there are no reports indicating a move for either of the wives… yet.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Focuses On Beer

It looks like Kody Brown, who remained dormant online until recently, comes out swinging about a couple of injustices. Or what he perceives as a couple of injustices. The odd thing is, Kody seems to put his focus on a new state in his tweets.

It looks as if Kody Brown has taken up a few new causes. But these causes come from a state the Sister Wives family doesn’t call home or has lived in previously. So after reading what he retweets on Twitter, it appears the patriarch of this plural marriage seems awfully interested in another state these days – North Carolina.

It seems Kody is interested in a decision made in North Carolina to ban the beer called, “Polygamy Porter”. Although this brew is manufactured in Utah, reports indicate that North Carolina officials don’t want the beer on their state’s shelves. That’s because polygamy is against the law in that state. So state officials banned the sale of the beer in North Carolina.

The brewery that makes the beer in Utah also lost its appeal of the decision to the North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Control Commission. From there it looks like Kody’s interest focused on gun laws and the right to bear arms in that same state. He retweeted a video of a North Carolina town meeting.

Gun Rights in Greenboro

Kody Brown gave kudos to a man who gave a speech to the Greensboro, North Carolina city council. His speech stressed the importance of the Second Amendment for gun rights of the American citizen.

While Kody traditionally follows news about polygamy, it seems coincidental that he’s focused on the problem of gun laws and polygamy in the same state. It looks like Kody might be doing some homework on the mindset of North Carolina’s government.

Before making the move to Flagstaff with his Sister Wives family Kody did his homework. Besides reading up on the Arizona city, he took several trips to Flagstaff. Kody went with each wife alone, except for Janelle, so they could get a feel for it.

Sister Wives: Sudden Focus on North Carolina?

With Kody’s latest tweets having a foundation in North Carolina, one has to wonder if he’s thinking of moving his Sister Wives brood again. Since he does have a daughter, son-in-law, one grandchild, and another on the way in that state, just maybe he’s pondering a move. If that’s the case there’s at least one Sister Wives mom who will be ecstatic – Janelle.

Maddie Brown Brush, who is the daughter of Janelle and Kody, is having her second baby any day now. Maddie and Caleb Brush are expecting a daughter to round out their arm of the Sister Wives tribe to four members. Their toddler son Axel is two-years-old and the apple of grandma Janelle’s eye.

Janelle is at Maddie’s home today on baby watch, so maybe Kody is there as well. If so, he might like what he sees. This could have started him researching the area with the possibility of a move in mind.

Move Would Thrill at Least One of His Four Wives?

Veteran fans of Sister Wives remember Robyn’s statement last season when she said this is her final move. Once she got to Flagstaff she planned on growing old there. Then Meri interrupted that thought. She told her co-spouse not to count on this move as the final move for the family.

Meri explained the family has moved about a dozen times, with Robyn taking part in only two of those moves because she was the last wife to join them. Meri, Janelle, and Christine have been with Kody for a couple of decades now. They remember well and informed Robyn how Kody tends not to stay in one place too long.

With Meri’s rental home on the market and Robyn’s rental property sold, they might have to vacate the premises for new owners. Also, it doesn’t appear that anything is happening on the Sister Wives Flagstaff land in Coyote Pass.

Caleb, Maddie’s husband is Kody Brown’s best friend, which Kody Brown declared last season. So along with his daughter and grandchildren in North Carolina, he’s got even more incentive to move and be near his BFF.

If given a chance to live near her daughter and grandchildren, Janelle probably wouldn’t buck the idea. But what about the other Sister Wives spouses? Christine will probably follow Kody Brown wherever he goes with very little questions asked. She seems to dote on her shared husband more than the over wives.

But Robyn already made a statement last season she’s done with moving. Then there’s Meri Brown, who turned into a happy independent woman over the last few years, would she follow?

Sister Wives: Just What is Kody Brown’s Plans?

Now with Kody Brown seemingly interested in North Carolina government – is he getting ready to pull up stakes to another state with the Sister Wives gang in tow? Of course, Kody Brown could have found the topic of the two stories on gun rights and polygamy beer interesting. He might not even entertain the thought of another moving venture.

He simply might have retweeted the topics for nothing more than they caught his eye. But Kody Brown already made a reputation for himself among the Sister Wives ladies as a man who wants to be somewhere else than where he is at the moment.

Also, the move to Flagstaff was supposed to save them big bucks financially. When Kody found out how much it would cost to build on Coyote Pass he attempted to have one big house built instead. That would save money and work for their budget. But he knew he had a fight on his hands with Flagstaff building and zoning laws.

The Sister Wives big house not only had to pass Flagstaff’s critique, but his four wives as well. Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn were pretty much dead against sharing one big house even without knowing Kody drew up plans. So maybe Flagstaff living is just too expensive for this gigantic family.

The head of this huge family tends to see the greener grass everywhere else than where he’s standing at the moment. So maybe a move is in the works. Or at least maybe it is in Kody Brown’s mind?
