Kate Gosselin, the former star of Kate Plus 8 and Jon & Kate Plus 8, pushed fame on her kids. That’s according to her ex-husband Jon Gosselin. Now the daughter who opted to move away from her mother because of this seems to follow in her footsteps.
Kate Gosselin Follows Road to Fame — Hannah Gosselin Opted Out
This week the famous sextuplets turn 18. Hannah Gosselin surfaces in a new pic for the first time as an adult. She’s unrecognizable but what’s even more stunning is the Kate Gosselin influence seen. She looks a lot like her mom with her long blonde hair while she poses for the cameras.
Fans of Kate Plus 8 watched as Kate became a divorced mother with all eight kids under her roof. This included her twin daughters, Cara Gosselin and Madelyn Gosselin. These ladies are 21 today.
Then of course the Gosselin sextuplets who turned 18 this week — Aaden Gosselin, Collin Gosselin, Joel Gosselin, Alexis Gosselin, Hannah Gosselin, and Leah Gosselin. Throughout most of the kids’ life, their parents were in the headlines battling for custody.
One of the sextuplets left the family home as well as their mother Kate Gosselin to move in with their dad, Jon Gosselin. It seemed as if Hannah wanted away from Kate.
At the time the headlines said her need to do this was so strong that she was willing to leave her siblings behind. Hannah recently sat down for an interview. She explained why she decided to go live with her father.
She said she has always been closer to her dad. The teen said that she opted to live with him after she wasn’t getting the parental attention she needed from her mom Kate.
Kate Plus 8: Kate and the Cameras
Kate Gosselin wanted those cameras around on Kate Plus 8, but Jon didn’t. He wanted his kids to have a normal childhood. So, each parent had different ideas about raising their kids.
At one point Kate had her son Collin admitted to a facility. According to reports, that institution treated kids with behavioral problems. Jon found out where he was after he was there a while. He then brought Collin home with him.
But it looked like Hannah Gosselin protested her mom’s ideas of child-rearing. But today it’s obvious her mom did have some influence on the now 18-year-old Hannah Gosselin.
Hannah Gosselin — A Mini-Me of Mom?
Hannah Gosselin surfaced as a new woman on her 18th birthday. She became an entrepreneur as well as a college student since being on Kate Plus 8. But the most shocking change is in her appearance.
She looks more like Kate Gosselin today as she’s sporting long, flowing blonde hair. She dazzled in her tangerine orange short dress while chauffeured around for her new business venture.
Kate Gosselin’s daughter sat on a seat that matched her dress color. She’s seen in the photo above as the doors of the vehicle open. All this hoopla was to introduce her new line of beauty products – Gosselin Girl Beauty.
It may seem ironic that the one Gosselin daughter to jump Kate’s ship is now too embracing the fame. Hannah has come a long way from the young lady standing in her dad’s doorway on her first day without her siblings and mom.
Hannah Gosselin looks stunning. This beautiful young woman looks like a mini-me of her mom Kate. Along with her new business, the 18-year-old plans to attend college in Florida as well. So, it looks like she’s got her plate full today.
