Kate Gosselin popped up recently in a 10-second video, which fans suggest is all you need to see to understand why a divorce was inevitable. That said, many who watched this retro clip called it humiliating.
Kate Plus 8 fans also suggested that it looked like Kate Gosselin did her best to humiliate her husband. But instead, she embarrassed herself even more.
Kate Gosselin’s Journey Ends in Loneliness?
The Kate Gosselin headlines today cite a very lonely woman. That said, they also threw in a couple of “rare” photos of her walking a dog alone in her rural North Carolina neighborhood.
This woman was once a household name. She was recognized by old and young alike. But the former reality star’s days of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and, later, Kate Plus 8, are long gone.
So, recently a clip resurfaced, which acts as a reminder to fans about what went wrong with her marriage.
Kate Did It Again…
Many fans of Kate’s two defunct reality shows say it was not easy to watch the Gosselin matriarch in action. The same type of flippant attitude that you see coming from her in the tweeted clip below, she also demonstrated when dealing with her kids.
The clip below is now over 15 million views and climbing. So, it’s safe to say she may be gone from the screen, but not forgotten today. And what fans seem to remember most about this mother of eight, is her less-than-stellar behaviors.

Jon Gosselin, the “poor guy” in this video, is her ex-husband. He was dead against cameras infiltrating their home for any more reality show filming. This dad wanted his kids to grow up without their lives strewn nationwide across the TV screen.
It’s no secret that Kate Gosselin would move mountains if she thought the prospect of a reality show of her very own was on the other side. This became a major clash between the couple and ultimately led to their divorce. But other things caused their split as well, which this clip above helps to demonstrate.
Clip Gets “Poor Guy” Comment
The person who pulled this clip out of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 archives offered up only two words in the introduction to the tweet. They wrote “Poor Guy.”
That’s the feeling many people got when watching Kate Gosselin ridicule her husband’s breathing in the clip. She interrupted the interview at the time to lambaste Jon for his breathing.
He sat there straight-faced as if this didn’t surprise him at all. It also didn’t surprise the fans at the time, but they hopped online to share their discontent over this woman’s behavior.
Fans who eyed this tweet today suggested that the “poor guy” comment said it all.
Kate Gosselin Far from Limelight Today
In the last few weeks, Kate was captured in photos walking her dog in 19-degree weather around her home in North Carolina. The report suggested that Kate Gosselin looked rather glum these days.
For many years, Kate was desperate to land another reality show, according to her ex-husband Jon. But his desperation to keep their minor kids off the screen led to a court order. She was forbidden from filming the kids unless both parents agreed.
But, Kate didn’t seem to put too much stock in that judge’s order, because she did so anyway. Kate had her four minor children, who were in her care at the time, join her on a TLC special.
Side-Stepping Jon Gosselin
To legally film the minor kids for TV, Kate needed to obtain work permits for Leah Gosselin, Alexis Gosselin, Aaden Gosselin, and Joel Gosselin, who were only 15 at the time. But that entailed getting Jon Gosselin’s signature. So, she didn’t.
Jon wanted to keep his children out of the limelight. So, it’s not likely he would have signed for their permits if she asked him.
These four kids are part of the famous Gosselin sextuplets, and they live with their mother. The other two, Hannah Gosselin and Collin Gosselin live with Jon.
The Gosselin twins, Cara Gosselin and Mandy Gosselin are four years older than the sextuplets. So, they were of legal age, 19, at the time to make their own decision to film.
But some might say the mother of eight cut off her nose to spite her face when she went against the court order. That’s because this was followed by TLC severing ties with Kate.
