’90 Day Fiance’ Spinoff: Couples Therapy Show Launches – Who Needs their Marriage Fixed?

90 Day Fiance fans are eager to learn more about the next new TLC series heading their way. The network decided to change things up a bit.

Instead of the usual looking-for-love-themed series that viewers expect, they will see some of their favorite and not-so-favorite couples engage in couples therapy.

90 Day Fiance: New Couples Therapy Series Being Filmed

Reality TV viewers can’t get enough of the 90 Day Fiance franchise on TLC. The network keeps churning out new content to satisfy its followers throughout the year.

As Soap Dirt reported, talk began last month after a handful of the franchise’s couples were spotted filming in the Florida Keys at Isla Bella Beach Resort and Spa.

90 Day Fiance: Ed Brown - Liz Woods

According to recent reports, 90 Day Fiance couples confirmed for the new project include Jovi Dufren, Yara Zaya, Big Ed Brown, Liz Woods, Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, Asuelu Pulaa, Kalani Faagata, Kelly Brown, and Molly Hopkins.

During filming, several reports and complaints were made by vacationing guests. They say some cast members’ loud and out-of-control behavior disrupted their stays. So this likely indicates there was significant drama during filming.

TLC’s Most Troubled Couples

Sharp Entertainment (the company behind the show) opted to bring back some of its most troubled and explosive cast members for their new Marriage Boot Camp-inspired series. The new project comes just weeks after Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After wrapped up the season with a chaotic Tell-All.

90 Day Fiance: Michael Ilesanmi - Angela Deem

During the recent Tell-All, viewers watched alum Angela Deem start and end the show in confrontation. Unfortunately, the chaos only continued to grow through the show.

At least three couples during the HEA Tell-All decided to part ways Ed Brown and Liz Woods, Kim Menzie and Usman Umar, and Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi. But for some, the split was brief.

To date, the only HEA couple to confirm they have officially ended their relationship is Usman and Kim. It is no big surprise that Ed and Liz are still together per their social media accounts.

Angela and Michael’s status remains a mystery, at least for now. So it should be interesting to see how this relationship fares during the counseling sessions.

90 Day Fiance: Which Couples Will Benefit the Most From Therapy?

Not many details about the 90 Day Fiance therapy series are available yet. But some reality television fans say they are eager to see the new series. It will be interesting to see the couples hash out their problems in a controlled setting.

Unfortunately, there is no word when the show will air. However, viewers know there is often little downtime between the 90 Day Fiance series. So, the show will likely air later this year.

TLC followers say the couples they want to see benefit from the therapy. They include Jovi Dufren, Yara Zaya, Kalani Faagata, and Asuelu Pulaa. But, as far as Angela, Michael, Ed, and Liz are concerned, most fans say they are a lost cause.

They are over the network bringing them back season after season. Many fans say they would like to see ditch them and bring in 90 Day Fiance couples to fill their shoes.
