Tammy Slaton fell into the spotlight with a big boom when appears on 1000-lb Sisters on TLC. She and her sister, Amy Slaton had a combined weight of over 1000-lb. Tammy is the sassy single sister who doesn’t let anyone get in her way. Also, she doesn’t seem to care much about losing weight. But, she does love to flirt and is always searching for the perfect person to spend her life with.
While Tammy Slaton has had quite a few relationships and fun flings, she is not quietly settling down. Her sister. Amy is married and has an infant and is mostly keeping out of the limelight. But, Tammy rides the social media wave like a pro. She often flirts with fans and releases snarky comments just to keep the buzz going. She loves attention. Good or bad.
Tammy Slaton was supposed to be focusing on losing enough weight to qualify for weight loss surgery. Despite the many doctors, trainers, dieticians and therapists that have tried to help her reach a goal weight, Tammy is making little progress. While she says she is trying very hard, the scale shows the truth. She isn’t trying much at all. Tammy will need to get with the program soon. Her weight has literally become a matter of life and death.
But, Tammy Slaton is focusing on living her best life. She launched a site to sell merchandise to her fans. Like the other half hearted projects she has tried, this one blew up in her face too. Tammy tried to use an artists work without permission – or license – or payment. Fans were very mad at this shady business. Then, she collected donations from fans for her future funeral and plus sized casket. Instead, she gave the money to her family for utility bills. Tammy is losing fans, not weight.
