1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Says Goodbye to Caleb Willingham While TLC Cameras Roll
Sunday was a difficult day for Tammy Slaton. The 1000-lb Sister cast member and a small close group of family and friends gathered to pay their final respects. As Soap Dirt reported, Caleb died unexpectedly at 40 on June 30.

During the service, Tammy became overwhelmed with emotion and broke down. She began to sob uncontrollably. Sources from the family say she is having difficulty processing Caleb’s death. They add that despite their split, the tv personality considers Caleb Willingham her best friend and is heartbroken by his death.
The TLC crew was also on hand to film the memorial service for the upcoming 1000-Lb Sisters season. Fans say they felt that the network acted in poor taste. They believe it is wrong of them to intrude on her at such a personal time.
TLC Cast Member Shares Season 4 Details
Many viewers say it is no surprise that the network filmed during Caleb’s service. In late July, Tammy said that 1000-Lb Sisters‘ fans needed clarification about the series’ seasons. She says there is a reason that Season 5 has yet to be announced. It is because Season 4 isn’t over.

“My wedding was a two-part thing, so it made Season 4 have more episodes. So we have Part B coming out on December 12. So far, the network has yet to release information regarding Season 4. In June, 1000-Lb Sisters cast members Tammy and her siblings, Amy Slaton, Amanda Halterman, and Chris Combs, were spotted filming at a Florida beach.
While filming, a family argument broke out between the siblings. The argument escalated and quickly became physical, and the film crew stepped in and broke things up. The drama was so heated that it caused the film crew so much anxiety that the network decided to halt filming for six weeks to give the family members time to cool down.
