A rumor says that 1000-LB Sisters‘ stars Amy Slaton Halterman and Tammy Slaton are causing a commotion with the TLC network. Sources say that neither sister is happy with their current contract, and their present storylines.
The inside source says that because the women are unhappy, they are also causing issues with the rest of the cast, the production team, and the crew.
They also add that the network is considering its options very carefully. Season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters ended in March with Tammy Slaton’s wedding to Caleb Willingham. When the season ended the network had big plans for Season 5.

However, longtime fans of 1000-Lb Sisters claim they would like to see a spin-off or two from the original series. Fans claim they want to see more of Chris Combs and half-sister Amanda Halterman. They feel both Amanda and Chris are interesting and motivated enough to carry a spin-off without their sisters.
Another fan suggested a spin-off featuring just Amy Slaton Halterman and documenting her new life as a single mother of two. So where would this leave Tammy? Viewers say they have been getting the feeling that Tammy is not interested in reality television right now.
They believe it could be her focus on weight loss, or the demise of her marriage. But, some of her followers feel she needs a break.

Many other fans believe that Amy and Tammy’s stories have run their course. They feel the sisters and the network have drawn their weight loss journeys out too long and people are losing interest.
Of course, this is fan speculation. The spin-off talk picked up when sources said the women demanded pay increases following Season 4.

At this time 1000-Lb Sisters Season 5 is still up in the air. However, if Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton continue causing issues with the network and demanding more money it is possible that Season 5 may have an entirely different theme.
