‘Sister Wives’: Meri and Robyn Brown Furious as Neighbors Scorn Polygamy

Sister Wives stars Meri Brown and Robyn Brown landed in Flagstaff but didn’t find it was the promised land for polygamous families. Kody Brown sold his four wives on the idea of this city. This included how the people there would accept their polygamous lifestyle.

But it looks like Robyn Brown and Meri Brown found some new neighbors that didn’t get that memo. A few new neighbors neglected to pull out the welcome wagon for the Sister Wives clan.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown & Robyn Brown Feel the Wrath of Neighbors

It seems both Meri Brown and her co-wife, Robyn Brown were the first to see this. They found this out almost immediately after landing in Flagstaff. In the new Season 14 preview video of Sister Wives, you see their stunned reaction.

The two wives appear to be unpacking from their move. They stand together in a garage of one of their new homes. Dayton Brown, the oldest son of Robyn Brown, tells his mom and Meri that the neighbors are watching them.

This appears to upset Meri Brown. In another camera shot, the Sister Wives matriarch shares what she knows. Meri explains how the neighbors don’t want them in their neighborhood. Apparently someone who lives close by told them their polygamous family is not welcomed.

Meri is furious and says to Robyn Brown, “what do they think we’re frigging going to do”? It looks like once Christine Brown and Janelle Brown find out how the neighbors reacted to Robyn and Meri, all four wives become concerned.

Janelle Brown and Christine Brown Join In With Concerns

The second wife, Janelle Brown, shares with the Sister Wives cameras her concern. She asks, what this means. But she also wants to know what they moved the family into. While the four wives of Kody Brown seem to have tough skin, their main concern is probably for their kids.

Kody Brown portrays Flagstaff as the perfect home for their plural marriage. But even before they’re unpacked the neighbors offered friction by asking too many questions. Then let the Brown family know they don’t want a polygamous family in their neighborhood.

The four Sister Wives women and several of the kids did not want to leave their Vegas homes. But Kody Brown insisted.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Painted Lovely Picture

When season 14 Sister Wives’ previews first emerged, they suggested the family had problems with the neighbors. Many fans thought the neighbors might be fed up with the cameras. Or maybe the production crew rolling in and out of the wives’ neighborhoods caused a disturbance.

But from what Robyn and Meri Brown said on this new season preview video, the people don’t want them in their neighborhood because of their polygamous lifestyle. Will this get better for the Brown family or will they need to find a new hometown?

Sister Wives Season 14 premiere airs on TLC, Sunday night January 5, 2020, at 10 pm EST.
