‘Sister Wives’: Does Meri Justify Robyn’s Role to Keep Things Sane?

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has an odd history with Robyn Brown from the very beginning of their life together. Meri was instrumental in bringing Robyn to Kody Brown’s attention.

Plus, she urged him to take Robyn on as his fourth wife. But from appearances today, it looks like the fourth wife has him and the first wife doesn’t.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown Knows the Score?

Meri Brown tells her fans, both on and off the screen, about her dilemma with Kody Brown. She was the first to marry him. So, for a couple of years, they shared a monogamous relationship.

But they entered into plural marriage, which they agreed upon when they decided to marry. Although today Kody is cordial to Meri, their Sister Wives’ marital relationship tanked.

Fans say he acts married to only one of his wives. Fans heard Christine’s criticism of her marriage. She said her shared husband had only one marriage that works. So, fans assume it was Robyn she pointed to.

She surprised fans with her reveal last season that she hasn’t been intimate with Kody for about a decade. And she makes no secret about longing for romance with him once again. But today the romance department seems monopolized by his youngest and fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

Robyn Brown is Very Aware as Well

Unless Robyn never watches the Sister Wives episodes, she knows that Meri Brown wants to cuddle up with their husband. During the last season, Kody called and wanted to talk with Meri.

She became very excited and didn’t care what it was he wanted to discuss. Just the fact he was coming to see her made her day. As it was, the meet-up was about Coyote Pass lots.

Robyn pretty much has Kody all to herself these days. This is something the viewers saw during the last few seasons. Even Kody confirmed this himself, but he blamed it on COVID.

Yet the fans didn’t buy it and a few of his adult kids didn’t buy it either. So, this husband of the Sister Wives clan has an excuse for his absence from his other wives.

Meri mentioned in a recent post that Robyn came over for a visit with her kids. While it was a generic visit, the fact that she and Robyn still get together leaves some Sister Wives viewers wondering.

How can Meri be so close with the woman who stole her husband’s heart? Not only does she spend time with Robyn, but she often calls her one of her best friends.

Fans suggest Meri acts like Robyn’s close relationship with her husband doesn’t bother her. But she goes a step further. Meri deliberately seeks out this woman’s friendship. This is the part many Sister Wives viewers can’t understand.

Some viewers think it might be for the sake of the show. But that doesn’t explain why they hang out when the show isn’t filming. It’s a rather strange situation.

Many fans wonder why Meri doesn’t have some hard feelings towards Robyn Brown. Maybe this is the way that Meri keeps things sane. But you have to admit, there’s no easy way to rationalize this. Meri Brown introduced and promoted Robyn Brown for marriage to Kody.
