Sister Wives star Meri Brown sticks to Robyn Brown like glue, which means she gets to be close to Kody Brown as well. So, is Robyn the close friend that Meri makes her out to be, or does she serve a purpose? Being near Robyn keeps her in Kody’s orbit.

Sister Wives: Is Kody Brown the End Goal for Meri Brown?

Despite the many ways he’s shut her out, Meri Brown doesn’t seem to hear him. When the Sister Wives: One on One airs this Sunday, you will hear the real disdain coming from Kody Brown. He is not giving his first wife much hope. He only sees a possible relationship resembling friends in the future.

Sister Wives veteran fans remember Robyn Brown and Meri Brown from the beginning. Wife number one was instrumental in bringing wife number four into the family. When Meri and Kody first met her, the shared hubby was prodded by his first wife. She wanted him to think about courting Robyn.

Much to the dislike of his other two wives, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown, he set out for a fourth wife. He only had the blessing of wife number one in the beginning.

This is a perfect example of how time changes things. Robyn is now the cheerleader for Meri, trying to get Meri’s relationship with Kody Brown rebooted. Or at least it looks that way on the screen. Many fans believe the youngest wife has two faces, the one fans see and one with a hidden agenda.

What’s Robyn Brown’s Goal with Meri?

The fourth wife to join the plural marriage calls Meri her BFF. She’s also seen on camera pushing Kody towards Meri now and then. Like when they had that picnic this season and Robyn coaxed Kody to make his first bride a smores.

So, it sure looks like Robyn Brown cherishes Meri Brown. But some fans think that’s only for the Sister Wives’ camera. Now some say the same thing about Meri when it comes to her youngest co-wife.

 

Meri Brown has not taken any steps to hide how she feels about Kody Brown. She wants a relationship with him again. So, is her friendship with Robyn Brown today all about reeling her shared husband back in?

When Papa Brown passed out the COVID rules, two of his wives refused to follow them. That’s because those rules didn’t work for Janelle or Christine. Not to mention their grown kids as well.

The rules didn’t fit in with the lifestyle of Meri Brown as well. Plus, she most likely gave up more than the other wives to stay true to Kody’s wishes. She stopped her travel and hunkered down alone at home ahead of Thanksgiving. All this only to sit at her husband’s table for the holiday.

Sister Wives: Does Robyn Still Want to Share Kody?

So, what can explain this odd Sister Wives relationship between this trio? Meri has admitted jealousy in the past over Robyn Brown’s relationship with their husband.

But Kody’s youngest wife is the only foot that Meri has left to get into her husband’s door. Kody said that he wouldn’t visit with Meri or spend time with her as he does with the other wives. He said this while Christine was still part of the plural marriage.

So, it sounds as if Robyn might be her BFF’s security blanket. If for nothing else, she’s the gatekeeper to Kody Brown. So, that might explain why Meri still sees Robyn as her BFF despite her winning over the husband that they share.

Kody is the husband that Meri helped make happen for Robyn Brown. So, more than a decade later, Meri Brown is the guest in Robyn Brown’s home trying to win back the love of Kody Brown.  Sister Wives: One on One Reunion Part 1 of 3 is on Sunday night, January 30, on TLC.
