‘Sister Wives’: Janelle Goes behind Kody’s Back on Next Episode
Sister Wives has Janelle Brown not including Kody Brown when she makes a major decision about her living situation in the next episode of the TLC series.
This is big considering he is already down one wife. It also looks like this week Christine Brown tells her co-wives that she’s leaving the family.
Sister Wives: Still Waters Run Deep for Janelle Brown
Before this season, Janelle Brown remained relatively quiet over the perils of Kody Brown and his other wives. But this season it seems she’s speaking out but in a different way.
She’s traditionally seen as the one wife out of the Sister Wives to back up her shared husband. She also stayed away from most arguments. When he wanted that one big house, Janelle was all for it, despite the other wives rolling their eyes.
But this season she’s knocking heads with the father of 18, especially around the way he is treating his kids. From what Kody said so far this season, he seems to think that the kids don’t need their father once they hit a certain age.
That age is unknown as the Sister Wives patriarch didn’t share this. But it seems that almost all of his children have reached it. That is except for Robyn’s kids and Truely Brown, Christine Brown’s youngest.
Three Wives Battle the Chill of Kody Brown
It seems like Kody Brown put his foot in his mouth with his talk about the older kids not needing him. This didn’t sit well with Christine, Janelle, and even Meri Brown.
But Janelle was the one to call the shared hubby on his lack of effort to see Ysabel Brown, Christine’s daughter. He kept shooting one excuse after another about COVID.
Right! Make SOME effort. He has all these kids and doesn’t care to even see them. It’s ridiculous. #SisterWives pic.twitter.com/JmFHpiQ4Jb

But then Janelle suggested he go and see her but instead of inside, they could visit outside. The Sister Wives’ papa didn’t like the suggestion that the two stand outside to talk to keep it safe. He bucked at that while sounding like a man too fragile for the chilly weather.
Outside was inconvenient for him because of the cold. But as one Sister Wives fan pointed out, he spent time in a clip chopping ice off the logs at Coyote Pass. He looked spry for the camera despite the cold weather. So, it didn’t seem to bother him then.
Sister Wives: Janelle Makes a Stand In Upcoming Episode
This week Janelle decides something big. But she does it without Papa Brown. So, this seems to cause some angst with the father of 18. This decision has to do with her living arrangements, which Kody likes to keep a hand in with his wives.
While the Sister Wives preview only offers a tease of what to expect, this sounds big for Janelle. She seemed very obliging to Kody all these years on the series. Now she decides without him and tells him after the fact.
Last week Kody seemed to have a wounded ego. Christine made it clear she didn’t need him or the family. Kody was fit to be tied, and he started bashing Christine. He suggested she will never do better than what she had with him right here.
The irony? The face Kody makes at the end of the clip is how we all feel when he hear how thinks there's an age limit on loving your kid. #SisterWives pic.twitter.com/d72I3NTx6J

So, Janelle’s decision in the upcoming Sister Wives episode may offer another blow to Kody Brown’s ego. With that said, the episode also promises that Robyn won’t be the only one turning on the waterworks.
When Christine Brown gets through telling Kody and her fellow brides that she’s done, there’s not a dry eye in the house. Or in this case, the yard.
The previews also suggest that Kody says some brutal things aimed at one wife about giving up so much to try and love her. Fans find that this guy is far from a peach as he sits in for the final goodbye from his third wife.
Janelle Brown is not just sitting quietly anymore, this week she makes a stand with Kody Brown. Watch new episodes from Sister Wives Season 17 as they roll out Sunday nights on TLC.
