But, leaks reveal the twosome don’t stay that way for long. Married at First Sight spoilers report Michael Watson filed for an annulment after separating from Meka Jones “immediately after filming”. The same source recently leaked that fellow couple Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben also divorce.
Soap Dirt recently also, pulled court records where Brandon Reid filed for an annulment from Taylor Dunklin. So, things don’t look good early on for many of the new Lifetime pairs. On the plus side, this should make MAFS a very drama filled season worth watching.
Meka Jones told Soap Dirt exclusively that she didn’t find husband Michael Watson attractive when she first met him. And, she also found his sense of humor off-putting at first. The Married at First Sight bride said Michael was “super sarcastic” and it took Meka a while to warm up to that. While it’s true that things like attraction can grow over time, it’s also possible that it doesn’t. Perhaps this was the case for these two.
MAFS: Michael and Meka Did Not Consummate Their Marriage
Another Married at First Sight leak says the pair don’t consummate their marriage. There’s definitely a getting to know your partner phase when you marry a stranger. On the other hand, some couples hit it off instantly and get between the sheets right away. But, it looks like Michael Watson and Meka Jones were never intimate during their time together.
For some couples, that lack of physical chemistry can be a deal-breaker. Married at First Sight watchers saw the same thing happen with Keith Manley and Iris Caldwell. So, it’s possible this contributed to Meka Jones and hubby Michael Watson throwing in the towel.

Currently on the Lifetime channel show, the pair just walked down the aisle. But, knowing they decide to split in the end hints at drama to come for Meka Jones and spouse Michael Watson.
