‘Young and the Restless’: Will Kyle & Summer’s Last Scenes be ‘Skyle’ Wedding?

Young and the Restless comings and goings ask will Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) get married as their final appearance before they leave Y&R for good? Both actors are leaving the CBS soap as it’s rumored contract renewal talks fell apart. A “Skyle” wedding would give fans what they want as they say goodbye to the characters with a big sendoff.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Abbott Learn the Truth

As Y&R viewers know, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) ran Summer Newman out of town. They joined forces to get Summer to end her engagement to Kyle Abbott. Plus, Summer quit her job at Fenmore’s and took a top job at Marchetti in Milan, Italy. However, per Young and the Restless spoilers, these scheming ladies are about to be revealed.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knows something is up with them. She’s working to get hard evidence to present to Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She’s got a video of Sally arguing with Tara that she sees as smoking gun. However, there’s no way of telling what they bickered about. So, that won’t help Phyllis convince Kyle of what they did to Summer Newman on Young and the Restless.

But it’s obvious the two are working together. Soon, Kyle may accept that there is something suspicious in all this. Plus, Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) in town soon. The B&B character is also Summer Newman’s boss. If he mentions that Sally helped get Summer the job there, that would be a huge red flag for Kyle.

Soon on Young and the Restless, Kyle will realize that Summer only left him to protect his relationship with his son. Summer’s love was so deep that she was willing to sacrifice it all for Kyle Abbott to spend time with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). That should set the stage for Kyle’s exit from Y&R – and a reunion with Summer Newman.

Plot Against Summer Newman Exposed Soon on Y&R

Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Kyle Abbott will immediately go to Summer once the truth is revealed. A reunion in Italy would answer Skyle fan’s prayers. Many were furious when Summer gave in to Tara’s blackmail and left town. They argued that it was unlike the Summer to give up so easily.

However, behind-the-scenes information leaking from Young and the Restless indicate the actress was unable to come to terms to renew her contract. That led to Summer Newman’s exit. But it seems Hunter filmed additional Summer scenes that continue to air. Now, Michael Mealor is also gone from Y&R but his Kyle scenes continue to air as well.

With Kyle Abbott in the middle of a hot storyline, it’s hard to imagine how Young and the Restless is going to exit him soon. But it comes soon. And it might be the crossover cameo of Summer’s boss that’s the catalyst to blow it all up. And once Kyle understands that Tara blackmailed his fiancee, he should kick her to the curb and pack for Italy to see Summer Newman.

Especially if he finds out Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) isn’t really his son. Young and the Restless spoilers predict the ball starts rolling soon. Then he’ll find out why Summer left town. It definitely looks like Kyle Abbott finds his way back to Summer Newman. But is them reuniting enough? Or should the CBS soap give them a bigger and better sendoff than that?

Young and the Restless Sends Kyle & Summer Off with Wedding in Italy?

Once Sally’s scheming with Tara comes to light, it sets the stage for a happy ending for Skyle. And if it turns out Tara’s been lying about her son’s paternity, that really cements things. That completely frees Kyle Abbott to reunite with his soulmate Summer Newman. And it has to be out of town – since both actors are off contract already.

They’ve filmed their final scenes at Young and the Restless. So, it’s just a matter of the CBS soap airing what they’ve taped. What most fans of Summer with Kyle would love to see is for them to get their big ending. And that’s the wedding for Skyle they’ve waited to see. So, while it’ll be nice if Kyle Abbott flew to Milan and swept Summer Newman into his arms – wouldn’t it be nice if there was more to it?

Maybe – just maybe… Young and the Restless will give fans, Summer Newman, Kyle Abbott, and the talented actors that play them, a satisfying sendoff with a wedding. It could even be just the two of them. But it would be even better if they at least gathered Summer’s mother and father, Kyle’s dad – and maybe even The Mustache and his wife.

Wait and see and keep your fingers crossed for a big final scene with a bride and groom.
