Who is Heather Webber on General Hospital?
It’s been a minute since GH viewers saw Heather Webber — six years (October 2016) in fact, since she was on and chatty with now-dead son Franco (Roger Howarth). Remember, Scott Baldwin‘s (Kin Shriner) one of her baby daddies.
Heather was first seen on General Hospital way back in 1976 and it wasn’t long before she got Jeff Webber (now William Moses) into her bed. She got pregnant and Jeff tried to make her have an abortion.
Instead, she gave birth to Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves) but sold him on the black market… So, Steven is Elizabeth Webber‘s (Rebecca Herbst) half-brother. Although she was nuts, Jeff eventually married Heather. Then she was off-screen for years.
When Heather came back in the mid-2000s, she married Edward Quartermaine (Jed Allen / John Ingle) but he annulled her and ruined her plan to murder him for his money. Then in the 2010s, she was back again.
That time on General Hospital, she was terrorizing Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) who was involved with Heather’s son Steven. She later pursued Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) romantically but never won him.
The bottom line is that the woman is terrifying. She’s a confirmed killer and psycho with a knack for breaking out of maximum security facilities. Her return should have more than just Olivia terrified on GH…
Why the Lunatic is Taunting Hamilton Finn on GH
While it’s been six years since Robin Mattson was on-screen as Heather Webber, she was name-dropped on General Hospital in scenes about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). That was in February of 2021.
“Heather W” sent a letter to serial killer Ryan saying she was his number-one fan. But why is she taunting Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as seen this week on the ABC soap opera? It’s no doubt about Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara).
Liz just found out her ladies-man dad Jeff hooked up with Reiko. And since Heather was obsessed for years with Jeff on General Hospital, it’s possible she knows about that affair of his. She’s got something to tell Finn.
And it’s a good bet that she’ll blab that his wife was bedding his girlfriend’s father. Ick. Meanwhile, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) tries to talk Liz into telling Finn about the cheating and her pushing his wife down the stairs.
If he hears it first from psycho Heather, that’ll be a problem on General Hospital. But is there more to this visit from the legacy psychopath’s return? Many fans are hoping that means her son Steven will be back too…
Jeff Webber Stunned to see Heather on General Hospital Soon
While Liz walked out on her parents in California, we’ll soon see Jeff in Port Charles. GH comings and goings confirm that Denise Crosby’s out for now as Carolyn Webber. But Jeff follows his daughter back to New York.
And we can only imagine the freak-out if he sees Heather. She made his life a living hell back in the day. And on General Hospital, it’s clear to see that Heather Webber is still completely and totally bat-crap crazy.
But she’s a lot of fun as a villain. And with Ryan faking his locked-in syndrome, plus a Hook Killer about to be exposed, this all makes for the most exciting November sweeps we’ve had in years on GH on ABC daytime.
Heather Webber’s tied to almost every family on the character canvas right now so her return’s sure to cause ripples (if not tidal waves) of drama. And the recast of Alley Mills seems a good fit. She’s evoking all the crazy.
