On GH this week, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) valiantly fought off The Hook Killer to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Thanks to Britt’s intervention and a bullet from Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), the Hook backed off and ran.

But then, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) noticed a scratch on her daughter Britt on General Hospital. Moments later, Britt collapsed. The venom from the Hook is already coursing through her body. Plus, the hospital’s out of the antidote.

GH Casting News: Heather Webber Recast & Laura Spencer Returns

GH casting news reveals that Genie Francis is back as Laura Spencer after her Summer break from the series. She popped up overseas to help Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) save Charlotte Cassadine (recast Amelie McClain).

They get away with her but back in Port Charles, a new threat emerged. General Hospital recast the role of Heather Webber, replacing Robin Mattson with Alley Mills (Pam, Bold and the Beautiful). She’s doing a scarily good job…

General Hospital Comings And Goings: Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) - (Brad Schmidt)

It looks like he was off doing a Western-themed rodeo shoot for a few days. But he’s back to work. And Johnny Wactor also showed up at the General Hospital fan event in New Jersey.

So, blink and miss him as Schmidt is in and then back out as Brando Corbin on the sudser. He’s filled in for him here and there in the past when the actor needs time off. Who else is leaving GH?

GH Ins & Outs: Chad Duell Out and In as Michael Corinthos

Another notable recast recently seen on the soap was a brand-new shiny Michael Corinthos. Chad Duell reportedly tested positive for COVID and needed a short break from the sudser.

Then, General Hospital tapped a familiar soap face to replace him. That was Robert Adamson. He prior played legacy son Noah Newman over on The Young and the Restless.

We saw Adamson as Michael for a couple of days. Then, bam, Duell was back in the role. He showed up just in time to celebrate Michael and Willow Tait’s (Katelynn MacMullen) verdict over Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Josh Kelly Joins General Hospital — Is Vanessa Marcil Back as Brenda Barrett?

And another General Hospital comings and goings include Josh Kelly. When the soap cast the OLTL hunk, it raised questions of whether he might be recast Jason Morgan. Or even Jasper Jacks.

But he’s neither. Instead, he’s a brand-new character, Cody Bell. And this guy’s an old pal of Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna). He made his debut dropping in from a parachute.

Of interest, is that Josh Kelly is a veteran and a military skydiver. So, he and his General Hospital character have that in common. In addition to this confirmed cast addition, there’s chatter that a long-gone character could return.

We heard from a reliable source that Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) is coming back. But there are no official spoilers yet. We’ll just have to wait and see on the Brenda info.
