General Hospital Comings and Goings: Temporary Brando Corbin Recast

Coming up on GH, Brad Schmidt will replace Brando Corbin. However, there’s no need for Brando fans to worry because the recast is only for a few episodes.

The Brando actor was unavailable for a short while. So, Brad stepped in to help. Currently, on General Hospital, Brando has a lot on his plate — more than he even realizes.

General Hospital Comings And Goings: Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor)

His mother, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), is moving in with him and his wife, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). No doubt, this is not what Brando wants.

But, little does he know, Sasha is spiraling downward. And Gladys is staying close to keep her daughter-in-law off drugs. Indeed, his meddling mama is stepping up these days.

And Brando is sure to be grateful when he finds out how badly his wife is struggling. Of course, the OG Brando Corbin will be missed. But, he will be back on General Hospital before we know it.

Cast Update: Chet Driscoll Shocking Exit

General Hospital casting updates confirm that Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) is on his way out again. Recently, Chet had a love connection with Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

And fans were ecstatic to see Terry get a love interest. Of course, Chet’s nosy sister Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken), had to mess with things.

Now, Chet is taking a great job opportunity in Chicago. Even though Terry likes him a lot, she doesn’t want him to give up such a good job. The Chet actor and his family are leaving California.

And that’s why he’s leaving General Hospital. However, Terry is still as determined as ever to find love. And Chet’s departure is not the end of romance for Terry.

More General Hospital Casting News: Cameron Mathison Out

GH casting updates reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be off the canvas for a while. Cameron is filming the movie The Christmas Farm in Canada. So, while he’s away filming, Drew will not be seen.

But there’s still plenty of drama waiting for Drew. He got the ball rolling on the merger between ELQ and his company Aurora Media. But, his cousin Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is livid. So, Ned may betray the Q family and team up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Then, when Drew returns, he finds himself at odds with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). General Hospital spoilers tell us Carly plans to keep Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother a secret. But, Carly’s decision doesn’t sit well with Drew.

And their friendship could very well suffer. The drama is non-stop on GH as summer approaches. Watch daily to see what’s next for Brando Corbin and all your faves on the ABC sudser.
