‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Spin-Off – Unplugged and Talking
Sister Wives star Meri Brown seems to know the value of a fan base, so it appears she’s given them what they wanted – more of Meri Brown. Now that Sunday nights no longer hold a spot for the Sister Wives show, as the season has ended, Meri creates some action for Friday night with her own “spin-off” internet show.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown Unplugs With Friends
It doesn’t look as if you’ll find Meri Brown’s co-wives or Kody Brown on her show. No, Meri conjured up an entirely different format. It’s like she becomes unplugged for her very unofficial reality show online, Friday With Friends.
So what should you expect? Really anything. So far it seems as if anything goes for this Sister Wives unofficial spin-off.
The original matriarch of the polygamous family featured in the Sister Wives show shares her new screen with her “BFF”. Her name is Jenn, so tune in and watch Meri Brown and her BFF bounce stuff off one another at a rather fast pace.
While at times it’s hard to follow for that reason, it’s safe to say you still get some interesting information from Meri and her gal pal.
Still Under Contract – Hint of Things to Come
In her latest Friday with Friends Meri Brown threw out a loose disclaimer. She said that she’ll answer questions as much as she can because she’s “under contract”.
This means there are things she can’t talk about. So, if a fan, (she answers live messages as this online segment plays out) asks her something and she skirts the issue, you’ll know why.
So, it looks as if Meri Brown revealed that another season of Sister Wives is in the cards. While she didn’t say that exactly, the fact that she’s still under contract seems to indicate this is the case. It sure sounds like she still needs to keep some things sacred for yet another season of the TLC reality series.
Sister Wives: Meri Drops Things Here For The ‘Tabloids’
Meri continued with her disclaimer regarding her Friday with Friends series. While she said that she won’t discuss “the family” she won’t shoot down questions asked about them. But because of this contract, she’ll answer some and not others.
Meri also said she might drop things during her segment for tabloids. Just maybe that adage rings true to her – any publicity is good publicity. Although, it seems as if Meri Brown honed in on this skill for Sister Wives years ago. She has used her art of manipulating the headlines for a long time now.
She’s great at sharing what her fans dub “cryptic messages”. She seems to lead her followers to assumptions but they can’t come back to bite her because she just dropped hints. Still, in Meri’s defense, this is probably a good skill to have as a public figure.
Very Tart Drink – Very Intriguing Sandwich
While Meri Brown talks to her Sister Wives fans, she sips a drink. After the first few sips, she makes a face as if it’s tough to get down. First, you get the impression she’s enjoying a sour cocktail. But Meri explains what it is she’s grimacing about.
She made her own lemonade, consisting of lemons and caffeine. It seems she uses a caffeine additive in this drink. While it’s sour, the taste has her puckering up even more because she just brushed her teeth. After she divulges her quick recipe for lemonade, fans start to offer up recipes for things to eat.
One sandwich, in particular, intrigued this Sister Wives celeb. How about trying a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich? The fan said she thought of it as odd at first but once they tried it, they were hooked. This caused Meri’s very controversial eyebrows to raise as if she pondered making one herself.
Sister Wives: Once a Sales Person – Always a Sales Person
Friday with Friends appears to be an open platform for fans of the reality series to ask questions of Meri Brown. It also gives you a better insight into the real Meri Brown. She’s on the screen just being herself and she looks like a fun friend to have.
But she also didn’t miss the opportunity to plug the clothes she had on. After all, Meri makes quite the living selling a line of clothes to the people who follow Sister Wives.
As far as her BFF Jenn, she looks like a fun friend who seems to know a lot about Meri Brown. She prompted Meri to tell the story about the electricity problem she had at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, which is the B&B establishment owned by Meri.
Meri Brown Powerless
The Sister Wives entrepreneur found the power wasn’t working in a bathroom outlet at Lizzie’s. She knew enough that there should be a reset switch, “red button,” but she couldn’t find one. So she called an electrician in for some help.
Visions of an update on the wiring danced in her head and worried her as well. That is until the electrician pointed her to the other bathroom. This other bathroom sits back to back to the one with the powerless outlet. There the “red button” sat. Apparently, it took care of both bathrooms. So, Meri learned something new.
Fridays With Friends offers some lighthearted fun with a couple of seemingly close buddies. The discussions vary greatly as Meri Brown and the woman she calls her BFF, Jenn, seem to share anything that pops into their heads. While it’s not Sister Wives, it’s a great place for fans to land in between the seasons of the TLC reality show.
