My 600-lb Life: Coliesa McMillian Reveals Reason Behind Food Addiction
On My 600-lb Life, Coliesa McMillian talks about her daily routine starting off with a shower, provided by her sister. However, she says she isn’t able to shower for more than five minutes. This is because her weight causes a lot of pain in her back and showering is too exhausting. So, after getting her shower, she heads back to her bed to lay down to rest.
After getting enough energy back on My 600-lb Life, she requires the help of her young daughter to help her dress. Then, her daughter breaks down into tears as she talks about wanting her mom to be around for her. However, Coliesa devours a large breakfast to start off her day to stop her emotional pain. She eats her large cinnamon buns, five eggs, four pieces of sausage, and four pieces of toast.
Then, on My 600-lb Life, Coliesa goes on to explain why she’s in the position that she’s in. She says she’s happy and wants to have food. Next, she says food brings her peace and joy, so she pushes herself to eat more to feel those feelings. However, after scarfing down her large meal, she grabs a large bucket. She goes on to explain there are times when she eats too much and her body isn’t able to handle it. So, she ends up throwing up the meals she consumes.
Sad Woman Pushes Herself to Feed
On My 600-lb Life, Coliesa McMillian finishes throwing up the large breakfast she ate. She says she throws up on purpose, just to receive relief after consuming too much. But, right after vomiting, she starts to consume a large meal from Taco Bell. Then, she reveals she doesn’t know how to stop feeding so much.
Next, Coliesa talks about on My 600-lb Life food being a comfort for her while growing up. So, she’s always struggled with losing weight. Then, she says her father’s alcoholism terrified her, which caused her to overeat.
My 600-lb Life: Is Coliesa McMillian Dead?
On My 600-lb Life, Coliesa works hard enough to get approved for weight loss surgery by Dr. Nowzaradan. However, in her episode, she admits to suffering from a heart attack when she reached age 39. She explains on air her heart giving out before medical help was able to arrive at her house. Also, doctors weren’t able to operate on her due to her size. Then, she refers to her heart as a “ticking time bomb.” She also understands she isn’t going to survive another heart attack unless she’s able to slim down.
After receiving her surgery, Coliesa from My 600-lb Life had a lot of complications. She suffered from hemorrhaging, which caused her to be placed on a ventilating machine. Also, she flatlined while on the ventilator, so she’s placed into a coma. However, it doesn’t appear that Coliesa ever fully recovered from this incident, as she spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital after this.
While the cause of her death isn’t clear, Coliesa passed away at the age of 41.
