‘Married at First Sight’: Rachel Gordillo Not Impressed with Jose San Miguel Jr’s ‘Strict’ Ways

Married at First Sight wife Rachel Gordillo said her husband, Jose San Miguel Jr thinks she’s perfect. But from the look on her face when she went to his house, it doesn’t seem like she feels the same way.

Married at First Sight: Jose San Miguel Jr Freaks Out Wife

When the MAFS experts went to Jose’s house for the home tour, they noticed something interesting. He had a whiteboard up on his wall with all of his finances for people to see. He seemed to think this was normal and felt excited to show Rachel his setup.

On Married at First Sight, Rachel Gordillo looked at his wall, and her face was pure horror and confusion. He said, “You have something like this at your house, right?” She quickly said, “No, I do not have anything like this at my house. Nothing like that at all.”

Jose San Miguel Jr of Married at First Sight quickly offered to help her get it set up, and she looked less than amped for this to happen. As she looked through the house, she imagined living there, but it seemed like he had everything the way he wanted it. She didn’t know where she would fit in and “his” house and wondered if it would work out living there.

Rachel Gordillo Needs Her Man To Relax

When Rachel and her hubs Jose met with Pastor Cal Roberson, she did admit to having some worries. She said, “We work hard, and we should be able to have some fun,” about Jose not wanting to take big trips. Rachel had shown him her strategy of randomly picking vacation spots – and he wasn’t for it.

Jose of Married at First Sight said they should take small trips. He didn’t want to go to Europe with Rachel and said that she’d already been there, so they didn’t need to go. She said that she wanted to go over there with her husband, though.

Pastor Cal told them that Jose San Miguel Jr was the science in the relationship and Rachel was the art. He said he believed they could work together with each other if they wanted to. Rachel would draw him out of his routine, and Jose would help Rachel Gordillo get her finances together.

Married at First Sight: Jose Criticizes Rachel’s ‘Hoarding’ Tendencies

When Lifetime’s Jose San Miguel Jr went to see Rachel Gordillo’s house, he immediately had some worries. The big thing he noticed was that she had a lot of pencils on a desk. She said she collected them from the different places she traveled.

Jose said he didn’t know if that would work out when they lived together. Rachel said, “What? I can’t have a desk with my pencils on them?” He told her he just wasn’t sure she needed all of them but admitted that they might mean something to his wife more than just being pencils.

Fans of Married at First Sight said it was a little wild that he wouldn’t want her to have her own desk with some pencils. And agreed that those were some pretty strict rules that needed to be let up. Even so, this could be a sign that his new wife does like to collect unnecessary things.

Rachel & Jose Destined to Doom?

It’s a little strange that Jose keeps saying that Rachel is his mirror image. He even went so far as to say that he would date himself. In fact, it seems like he’s a little confused since they do have so many differences – especially finances.

Viewers of Married at First Sight do agree that this couple might be the best out of all of them. But that doesn’t mean they’re a good couple or that they’re going to last.
