Life After Lockup star Derek Warner plans to travel to Chicago to visit his girlfriend Monique Robinson. He thinks his plans are a bust when his parole officer denies his travel pass due to a miscommunication. But things do not go any smoother from here.
Life After Lockup: Monique Robinson Continues to Doubt Derek Warner
Derek Warner and his Life After Lockup partner Monique Robinson’s relationship has been chaotic from the start. She admits she suffers from trust issues. Even before his release from prison, she was concerned as to whether or not she would ever be able to fully trust him.
Things between them have become even more difficult. Monique has dealt with a lot and continues to. Her issues between Derek’s sisters, Aubryana and Elizabeth, herself, and her sisters, Calandra and Sylvia, did not calm down even following the violent brawl the women engaged in during a previous episode.
So, there is that, and let’s not forget that he admitted on camera that he had cheated on Monique with multiple women since his release. That being said, the Life After Lockup parolee has not given her much reason to trust him. However, he says he’s ready to change.
He told his great-grandma, Big Ma he was ready to settle down and wants to do it with Monique. She seems somewhat skeptical and tells him to be sure it is what he wants.
Derek’s WEtv Girlfriend Snooping Spoils the Mood
Life After Lockup star Derek is ready to fly to Chicago to propose to his girl. All he needs is the final paperwork from his parole officer.
His plans come to a stop when he contacts his parole officer and she tells him his travel pass has been denied due to missing paperwork. Derek argues that he emailed her all the papers, but she tells him she will get back to him.
He worries he will not be able to fly out. But he already told Monique he was arriving, and she will be at the airport to pick him up. He starts to stress but gets the okay from his PO just in time to make his flight.
His Life After Lockup girlfriend is eager to see him. But she still has serious doubts about his loyalty. So, she plans the first minute she gets to snoop through his phone.
There is a problem, he uses at least three different phones. He has one for Monique, one for his family, and one for others. If she finds three phones, she will go crazy.
There is also a chance she could come across the engagement ring he has for her while going through his things. This will spoil Derek Warner’s big surprise. Either way, she could uncover something that will spoil everything her partner plans.

WEtv fans who follow the Life After Lockup couple’s lives off-camera know that their drama has not stopped post-season. Soap Dirt reports Derek Warner was arrested in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio on March 28, while exiting a restaurant.

He was taken into custody, and transported to the Lorain County jail where he was charged with felonious assault. Warner was bonded out an hour later on a $10,000 bond, calling the arrest a minor setback. He says he has no worries about the charges at all. But here is where the spoilers come in.
Per TMZ Monique Robinson was the one to post bond for her Life After Lockup partner. So, despite the break-up drama surrounding the reality series, the pair are still together.
She says she loves her man, and there was never a doubt in her mind whether or not she would post his bond. Monique Robinson adds that if the situation reversed, she is sure that Derek Warner would do the same for her. So, will Derek and Monique live happily ever after? Time will reveal all.
