‘Life After Lockup’: Derek Warner Makes a Major Slip Up

Life After Lockup star Derek Warner knows he has a lot of work to do to patch things up with Monique Robinson. It is not going to be an easy task.

He knows he messed up when he cheated on her and getting her to forgive him will not be easy. Unfortunately, he makes a crucial slip-up when he thinks he is gaining some ground.

While Derek Warner of Life After Lockup tries to make amends with his girlfriend, Monique Robinson, he commits the ultimate blunder.

The error happens while he sits at a restaurant dining table with her and her two sisters, Calandra and Sondra. They are grilling him about his intentions with their sister, and he is nervous.

These three women did not come to play. They have questions, and they want answers. Derek wants this meeting to go well. So, he knows he needs to choose his words carefully.

However, the more questions they ask, the more nervous he gets. When they asked him what his next move with Monique Robinson would be, he became so flustered he committed the ultimate error. He outs himself in front of her and her sisters.

When he began to explain his plans, he said he would stop messing with all his side pieces and focus on his relationship with Monique. But his Life After Lockup partner caught his mistake. Instead of saying side piece, he said sides pieces.

So, she immediately called him out on his words and questioned how many women he’s been with. But somehow, he manages to fast talk his way around the question.

Derek has a lot of explaining to do. Somehow, he managed to squeak past Monique Robinson and her sisters, for now. He wants them to accompany him to a party at his sister’s house.

But Monique and her sisters are sure this is a good idea. The Life After Lockup women do not get along, and she fears it could be some setup.

She tells Derek she wants to talk with her sisters. So, he steps outside the restaurant so they can talk. But Monique notices he quickly grabs his cell phone before leaving.

She seems suspicious and tells him to leave the phone on the table. However, he has another excuse for her and says he needs to make a call.

During his Life After Lockup confessional, Derek Warner says he keeps many secrets from Monique. For example, he pulled out three different cell phones. Since he knows she monitors and tracks the phone she got for him, he thought he would outsmart her.

So, he admits to having a phone for her, another for his family, and a third for others. He says if she finds out, she will go insane. But this is not the only thing he is hiding. He also admits he slept with multiple women after Monique returned to Chicago.

Life After Lockup: Is Derek up to No Good?

The WEtv Life After Lockup star feels confident that he has Monique fooled for now. However, she is a tricky woman. Derek wants her to come to Cleveland every other weekend until she can relocate permanently. With sweet talk and kisses, he feels he can wrap her around his little finger.

But there is one thing Life After Lockup viewers say Derek Warner forgets about his girlfriend, Monique Robinson. When it comes right down to it, she can be as sneaky, if not sneakier, than he is.

She trusts her intuition. So, if she feels he is up to no good, she will find out about it. Viewers believe the question is whether she will hide in Cleveland and catch him or wait for him to self-destruct.
