Kate Gosselin Slammed for Botched Birthday Wish to Kids
Kate Gosselin is the mom of eight kids, and they all finally moved out of their teens and into their 20s this month. With the Kate Plus 8 star pretty much keeping to herself these days, it’s not easy to decipher what she’s been up to. But it’s plain for the fans to see from her latest post that her lifestyle is not ideal.

Pretty much everything that can be said has been said about Kate Gosselin’s mothering tactics. It’s no secret that fans of her long-gone TLC series were not thrilled with how Kate handled things when the kids were much younger.
Fans often described Kate Gosselin as a woman with a short fuse. As the kids got older, the family fractured. That’s when two of the Gosselin sextuplets left Kate to go live with Jon Gosselin, their dad.
But in more recent years the two kids, who moved in with their dad remain estranged from Kate Gosselin. But they opened up about life with their mom. Both accused their mom of being abusive.
Kate Weathered Accusations of Abuse
When Collin Gosselin got older, he spoke up about how his mom treated him. He said Kate put him away in an institution. He considered it punishment for him accusing her of being abusive.
But he also thought it was one way she could keep him quiet. Collin said his mom put him away, “Somewhere where I wouldn’t be able to put the secrets out.”
Now that the sextuplets are 20, and the twins, 24, Kate’s kids are adults. But a recent post by Kate Gosselin for their birthday made it clear not much has changed.
Six Kids Turned 20, But Four Got Birthday Wishes from Mom
Kate Gosselin fans were quick to jump all over her latest post, where four of the sextuplets sit in front of a birthday cake. Their mom wished her “forever babies” a happy birthday in the post.
Many fans thought Kate Gosselin should have mentioned them all by name. They thought she should have included Hannah and Collin, at least by name, since they were not there.
But it was as if no time passed for fans, as a debate quickly heated up over Kate’s parenting style. Many fans had an issue with only four of her sextuplets getting birthday wishes from their mom.
So, a look at this latest birthday post suggests that the Gosselin lifestyle hasn’t changed much. It only includes the four sextuplets who stayed with their mom.
That’s Alexis Gosselin, Aaden Gosselin, Leah Gosselin, and Joel Gosselin. The other two from the famous Gosselin sextuplets, Hannah and Collin, are missing from the photo below.
There you have it, those adorable little kids are now adults at 20 years old. While Kate wished her forever babies a happy birthday, fans thought she blew the chance to reach out to the other two sextuplets who live with Jon. But she may have had her reasons for doing it this way.
