Recent reports reveal that the Mama June: Road to Redemption star, June Shannon, is ignoring her family. Her mom reportedly hurts Shannon’s daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird.
Sources close to the family say that she has not been to see her daughter Lauryn since the birth of her new twin grandchildren. However, Aunt Doe Doe Shannon offers a hand.
So far, Lauryn and her husband, Josh Efird, have yet to confirm the twin’s arrival. However, reports state that she gave birth via c-section to a baby boy and girl last month.
This makes four children for the Mama June: Road to Redemption couple. Lauryn has also been awarded full custody of her sister Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson.

On Mama June: Road to Redemption, Doe Doe Shannon is stepping up to help out her niece and family. Doe Doe comes to the rescue by unloading a car full of baby items outside her niece Lauryn’s Georgia home.
Pumpkin’s sister Jessica, ‘Chubbs’ Shannon, was also on hand to help carry numerous boxes of diapers and supplies inside the Efird home.
So why is she ignoring her family? Many WEtv viewers fear that Shannon is living in her own little world. The reality star recently married Justin Stroud in a secret courthouse ceremony. They feel she is so tangled up in Justin that she forgets about her family.
Shannon’s Family Is Fed Up
Lauryn has been dropping several hints that she is unhappy with her Mama June: Road to Redemption mother. She recently shared a scathing message on social media.
Lauryn’s message was straight to the point: “Just putting this out in the air, it is literally up to NO ONE but YOU to make sure you have a relationship with your grandkids, niece, nephew. And if you don’t, you’ve got none to blame but you.”
