This week, in Season 6, Pumpkin Shannon plans a big celebration for Alana’s sixteenth birthday. Honey Boo Boo is growing up fast. And, of course, she is getting interested in boys.

In real-time, the teen is already dating 20-year-old Dralin Carswell. But the young couple is just getting started on the next Mama June: Road to Redemption.

Pumpkin plans a Sweet Sixteen bash for her younger sister at their home. Of course, she invites Dralin to share in Alana’s special day. But Pumpkin already warned the young man not to hurt her sister.

Things get off to a good start at the birthday party, but things take a turn when their mom shows up. Pumpkin catches her on the phone and suspects she’s texting her new “boy toy.”

She calls Mama out, and her aunt Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon backs her up. But she denies having a boyfriend. However, it soon comes out that she is not telling the whole truth.
