Chris Williams Says Ex Faked Pregnancy and Miscarriage – Married at First Sight
Married at First Sight star Chris Williams says his ex faked the pregnancy and then the miscarriage that caused all the drama on the show. He fought with Paige Banks over the pregnancy. Then the news from Mercedes Myrick about the miscarriage was another bombshell. Now, Chris claims he has new information.
Married at First Sight: Chris Williams Calls Out Mercedes Myrick
Chris Williams said his ex, Mercedes Myrick, lied about the MAFS pregnancy and the miscarriage to get back at him. He said as soon as he told her he married Paige Banks, she told him about the baby. He went on to say he didn’t believe it, and Pastor Dwight advised him to make her prove it.
Chris said, “She took the test on video, and I had no clue that the test she used was a dummy test.” Allegedly, it’s a prank test that shows positive no matter what you put on it. He said he looked forward to becoming a father, and then she faked the miscarriage too.
He said he took out a two million dollar life insurance policy because Chris thought he would be a dad during the Married at First Sight experience. Chris Williams said he bought Mercedes a car that she still has and made sure she was comfortable. He said the doctor never told him she had a miscarriage – she was the one that told him.
MAFS: Mercedes Strikes Back at Chris
After Chris Williams called her out, Mercedes Myrick said she couldn’t believe she had to deal with this. It seemed like a very “he said she said situation.” She said, “This man is a liar and mental. He is upset because I threatened a restraining order yesterday after I caught him lying again.”
She went on to say the Married at First Sight celebrity knew there was no coming back to her. She claimed she had tons of receipts and could prove that Chris lied about her faking the pregnancy and miscarriage.
Chris made it seem like she did this because of him going on Married at First Sight. But then she finally let the proof out of the bag by showing her “My Chart” from the Atlanta hospital on video – which we have a screenshot of below. Clear as day, you can see where it says she had a miscarriage, abnormal uterine bleeding, and hypertension in the ER.

After seeing the back and forth between Chris and his ex Mercedes, Married at First Sight fans couldn’t take it. Some said, “Why are you doing this?”
Others told him that Paige Banks was right about him.
