1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton did not get legally married back in November. However, Soap Dirt has exclusive news that delves further into Tammy’s relationship with Caleb Willingham.
1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton’s Engagement
Tammy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters became engaged to a man named Caleb Willingham. She and Caleb first met while they were both in a rehab facility located in Ohio.
After a brief period of dating, Caleb proposed to Tammy. The news of Tammy’s engagement’s huge for fans, especially after her rough breakup with Jerry Sykes. Jerry and Tammy dated during the first three seasons of the hit TLC show.
While she mentioned taking this relationship a step further on camera, Jerry Sykes didn’t share the same interest. During a short stay together when she had an injury on her side, Jerry said he didn’t realize how much work it would take to care for her. Then, he said he wasn’t ready for that type of responsibility.

Caleb proposed to Tammy in the parking lot of a rehab facility. Shortly after their engagement, Caleb and his fiancée planned to marry quickly.
TLC confirmed in early November the duo had an intimate ceremony inside of the rehab facility. She wore a long white wedding gown, carried sunflowers, and had her hair and makeup done.
Her sister, Amy Slaton, was present for the ceremony with Caleb. The 1000-Lb Sisters star Tamy also showed off her newlywed husband, who wore a black t-shirt and pants with brown suspenders. The wedding ceremony was just that – a ceremony – likely for filming for later episodes on the TLC hit show.

However, it appears the 1000-Lb Sisters reality TV star didn’t legally marry back in November. But recent updates show that Tammy Slaton and Caleb Willingham legally married this week, January 18th, 2023.
The probate court told Soap Dirt exclusively that “the license was granted on November 21, 2022, and then the date of the marriage was January 18, 2023.”
1000-Lb Sisters: Plans for Tammy After Wedding
At the beginning of Season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters, Tammy Slaton said one of her goals was to find a spouse. She also says she wants to get a career and go shopping.
Now, she’s accomplishing one of those goals. Caleb says he plans to move to Kentucky with Tammy when they leave the rehabilitation center.
