‘1000-lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton Says She’ll Kill Family
1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton explains that she isn’t able to live with her family anymore. She says that she can’t live with them because they “will kill” one another.
1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Says She Cares for Herself
Despite what a lot of people are lead to believe after watching 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton, she claims to be able to take care of herself. Tammy explains that TLC wanted her to portray that she’s dependent upon Amy Slaton to take care of her. However, she’s now opening up and claiming that this isn’t the truth.
The 1000-lb Sisters fan favorite says she’s able to cook, clean, and bathe herself. Also, she previously states she doesn’t need a walker or a cane. However, there are a few things she needs Amy do for her. Tammy claims Amy only helps her grocery shop, does her laundry, and pays her bills.
But, Tammy quickly explains away why Amy’s the one paying her bills. She claims Amy is her “payee.” Tammy probably means payer.

TLC Star Blames Living Conditions on Diet
While talking about her current living conditions, Tammy from 1000-lb Sisters says she’d rather “die than to live here.” However, it’s not exactly clear where is is living.
She admits that she has to make changes in her diet. But, she claims that she’s having a hard time because of where she’s living. At first, she says she’s going to start making healthier decisions with her eating habits after her birthday. Then, she says that she will wait until she finds another place to live to really focus on getting her health better.
Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters says she’s been trying to relocate. Yet, she says it doesn’t look like she’s going to be able to leave “any time soon.”
1000-lb Sisters: Family Genetics Blamed for Tammy’s Weight
Also, Tammy Slaton goes off on a rant to her 1000-lb Sisters viewers about her weight. She states that she’s tired of people leaving nasty comments on her videos and social media about her weight. She brings up how people are constantly telling her she’s an adult and needs to make better decisions.
Yet, Tammy says she’s stress eating because of all of the comments her family makes about her size. She also claims the genetics in her family are the reason she struggles with her size. Tammy goes on to explain how several of her siblings weigh 400 pounds, while her oldest brother weighed close to 1,000 pounds in the past.
Abuse Accusations Come Forward
In addition to Tammy Slaton talking about how her family makes comments about her food choices, she makes another bold statement. The 1000-lb Sisters star says “…about my family… some of ya’ll know… they’re mentally and sometimes physically abusive…”. But, she doesn’t go into detail about who in her family is abusing her or what they’re doing to hurt her.
1000-lb Sisters: Death Threats from Tammy?
As she continues to open up to 1000-lb Sisters fans, Tammy makes another heartbreaking statement. She says that she would “rather die than live here”, and that “I cannot live with family.” Then, she looks away from her camera and bites her lip as she tries to fight back tears.
Once she’s taken a moment of silence to collect herself, she remarks “we’d kill each other.” 1000-lb Sisters personality wipes tears away from her eyes and sits in silence for a few more moments before she continues talking about her weight struggles.
Hopefully, Tammy Slaton’s able to make the improvements she needs in Season 3 of 1000-lb Sisters. Fans are hopeful to see Tammy become the independent woman she wants to be.
