‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton Ditches Boyfriend
1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton updates her followers about her recent progress. Over the past several months, there has not been a lot of news coming from the Slaton family.
So, fans are always happy to hear whatever information they can. However, a few significant events have occurred in the TLC reality star’s life that she is sharing.
1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Is Moving On
It is not often that 1000-Lb Sisters fans get an update on Tammy Slaton. However, the reality television personality took to TikTok last week to share a few new details with her followers.
In July, Tammy caused quite a stir after revealing that she had reunited with her former fiancé Philip Redmond. Then, around mid-July, fans began to worry about her well-being. Especially after Redmond’s social media posts insinuated that they were together again.
Redmond’s posts and Slaton’s comments led many to believe that Tammy had left rehab and was traveling to Kentucky with Philip and that the two were blissfully in love.
One month later, Tammy tells her followers that she and Redmond are over. Her post simply states, “Being single sucks.” She began receiving many comments from her 1000-Lb Sisters telling her to stay positive and keep her head up.
One commenter even made an offer to change her single status for her. However, she quickly responded, “Thanks, but no thanks.”
Many of her followers were curious about what happened between her and Philip. So, they began asking her about the split.
However, she tells her fans it is personal and something she does not care to discuss. However, she did want to make one thing clear.
She states that this time there is no way she will reunite again with Redmond. Her followers said they understood and did not have to explain anything to anyone if she didn’t want to.

TLC Star’s Health Update – Trach Capped
1000-Lb Sisters fans also quickly noticed another significant change in Tammy Slaton. Her followers congratulated Slaton after seeing her trach tube had been capped.
This is a good sign for the reality star. A capped trach means that Slaton’s breathing issues are improving, and the CO2 toxicity is under control. Doctors may finally feel confident enough to remove the tube if things continue to improve.
Numerous reports revealed that Slaton was due to undergo weight loss surgery at the end of July. However, no official confirmations are being released.
If the procedure was performed as scheduled. Slaton could be back in her home following her recovery by late September or early October if the surgery was performed. Granted, there are no complications.
1000-Lb Sisters: Where Will Tammy Go Next?
So, what could all of this mean for the reality star? Fans hope it is a good sign that the reality series will soon be returning to the TLC lineup.
There are a lot of back and forth from the family about the show’s future. Per Tammy’s past social media updates, she reveals that Season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters filming began back in June.
When fans pressed Slaton for more details at the time, she stated she can’t talk about the show, her weight loss, or surgery details.

So, for the time being, the show’s future remains unknown because TLC is not revealing anything either way. As for her sister, Amy Slaton is also remaining quiet after the birth of her second son.
