‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday May 21: Summer Works on Kyle – Please Reconsider Harrison
Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 21 hint Summer Newman (Hunter King) tries to convince Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) not to go public about his son. She argues he is moving too fast and needs to slow down. But Kyle is not convinced and wants to go full steam ahead about Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) on the CBS soap opera. Also, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) finds his wife and son at The Grand Phoenix.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman Tries to Get Kyle Abbott to Change His Mind
Kyle is awakened by Summer Newman, who tells him she is sorry he had trouble sleeping. Summer says Kyle will be late for work if he doesn’t get moving. Young and the Restless spoilers report Summer asks if he still plans to declare he is Harrison Locke’s father. Kyle does because he can’t turn his back on the boy.
So, Kyle Abbott plans to get a paternity test and tells Summer that. His first stop is to tell his dad what is going on. Before he leaves Summer Newman to do so, he’s got one more stop. He tells Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) that he wants to have a DNA test conducted and get a lawyer. However, he doesn’t know what to do in the short term to help her with her ruthless husband.
Kyle Abbott hopes that if he is the boy’s father, he will lose interest in gaining custody of the child. However, Tara doesn’t believe it would be good for Harrison if Ash is completely out of his life. He is the only father he has ever known on Young and the Restless. This will change Summer’s life forever.
Kyle Bonds with His Son on Y&R
Tara goes to get Harrison since they agree Kyle needs to bond with his child. Harrison stays with Kyle Abbott as she leaves to grab some snacks. They are left to play with dinosaurs and discuss how moms can be funny sometimes. Then Summer Newman calls because Kyle still hasn’t arrived at work. Did you fall back to sleep, Summer asks? No, he tells Summer he’s spending time with his boy.
Young and the Restless information shows that Kyle Abbott plans to ask his father if his ex-fling and her son can stay at the Abbott mansion. He is convinced he will say yes once he knows Harrison is his grandson. Summer Newman is not happy about how quickly everything is moving but can’t get Kyle to change his mind.
Jack and Kyle Abbott meet in the board room at Jabot. He shares that Ashland knows about the affair and is on the warpath. Jack asks why Tara turned to him for help? So he tells his father things have escalated and it is time he understands the truth on Young and the Restless.
Young and the Restless News: Locke Ness Monster Confronts His Wife
As Tara jumps out of the elevator, she runs directly into Ashland on Young and the Restless. He cooly greets his wife and demands she take him to his child immediately. He accuses her of kidnapping. As they argue in the lobby of TGP, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) interrupts. They need to take their private issues in private now, she exclaims.
Phyllis is not intimated by Locke in the least. So, Ash tells Tara he has already filed for a divorce. But she declares he must be crazy if he thinks she will walk away from Harrison. She threatens to call security if they don’t stop making a scene.
Ashland goes as his estranged wife thanks Phyllis for her intervention. Young and the Restless updates report that Phyllis didn’t do it for her. She did it for her daughter. She urges Tara Locke not to think of her as an ally. They are both just trying to protect their children.
“Bi-Li” Make a Decision About Their Living Arrangement – Y&R Scoops
Young and the Restless scoops indicate that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jack Abbott(Peter Bergman) talk at Crimson Lights. Jack fills his brother in on what happened at the engagement party. With great excitement, Billy shares he and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) plan to live together. So he declares she is perfect for him.
Lily reports to Phyllis that she is leaving The Grand Phonix. She and Billy are going to live in a new apartment. Yes, Red remembers that street well. She and Billy had an apartment over there at one point in their relationship.
“Bi-Li’ talking about the new place and he admits he didn’t mention the thing with his ex because he didn’t want her to prejudge the idea. They agree to have a picnic in the condo to see if Lily gets a weird vibe about it on Young and the Restless. The picnic goes well as they kiss on a blanket on the floor.
Young and the Restless Update: Chloe Visits Chelsea in the Psych Ward
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) arrives at Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) hospital room. While she is happy her BFF is visiting; she wishes it were under different circumstances. Young and the Restless scoops report that Chelsea argues she will be released soon. She is not crazy. Chloe points out that she did fake a breakdown.
She had to convince Rey that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pushed her over the edge. How else could she explain her actions to hurt Rey? Per Young and the Restless updates, Chloe admits she told Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) everything. Chelsea is shocked, but her friend promises he will keep their secret.
Young and the Restless information shows that Chelsea promises her loyalty to Chloe. She will never implicate her in the plot to harm Rey and set up her BFF’s fiance. She worries that Victor has turned her son against her. As Chloe leaves, she promises she will check on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and get back to her with an update. Chelsea thanks her for being such a good friend.
Rey And Sharon Work on Marriage – Y&R Information
At CL, Rey Rosales tells Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about his visit with Chelsea. She was definitely playing it up to get sympathy, he asserts. But Chelsea was consumed by jealousy. If she is lying about that, how can he believe anything she says, he asks?
Rey admits that Chelsea’s breakdown and confession could be a con on Young and the Restless. He decides to speak to her doctor on Young and the Restless. Sharon doesn’t understand why he still has to be involved in the case. She wants to close that chapter of their lives.
But Rey won’t back down until he gets the truth. Sharon begs him to stop obsessing about her ex. Young and the Restless news show that Rey promises Sharon that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will take over the case when the times right. He wants to get past it as well.
Young and the Restless Scoops: Red Warns Adam
Phyllis stops by Adam’s penthouse to give him a warning. He better not pull something sneaky with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), or he will have hell to pay. Young and the Restless spoilers show that he understands what she says. She has never been accused of being subtle. Nick is glad she’s on his side.
Adam promises he’s not after Nick and won’t be hurting anybody in GC. He is ready for a fresh start and hopes she will give him a chance. Per Young and the Restless news, his former partner in crime indicates that he scored a lot of points by saving Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Everyone is watching so he’d better not screw up.
Nina & Vikki Chat at Society Per Y&R News
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) runs into Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) at Society. So they exchange niceties until the talk turns to her black sheep brother. Vikki can’t believe that Chance Chancellor was ever friends with her half-brother. But Nina reminds her that Chance once donated part of his liver to his brother. Well, that is the only thing they have in common, asserts the pretty brunette.
Young and the Restless scoops tease that while the rest of the legacy family may have forgotten about all the nasty things her little brother’s done, Vikki has not. So she disapproves of her father’s relationship with his namesake son and doesn’t plan to cut him any slack. They are now stuck with him, but she doesn’t like it one bit.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Father-Son Pow Wow
Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his golden boy meet with Ash to discuss business. The media tycoon says he won’t hold Victor’s hardball tactics against him. So Victor offers his condolences about the break up of the Locke’s marriage.
He shrugs it off and says he only cares about Harrison. Just then Billy walks in and guesses they are talking about how to ruin ChanceCom. So Victor retorts not everything is about you Billy Boy. The Mustache announces they will be renaming the company.
While initially surprised – Ashland thinks it is a good idea. Billy leaves while laughing under his breath because he knows Vikki won’t be happy about the news. Victor vows to ruin Billy’s company and then take it over. Young and the Restless scoops show he isn’t playing games. This is war.
