The Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Amanda Sinclair In and Out – Status Change
Y&R fans may have noted they’re seeing a lot less of Amanda Sinclair these days. That’s because Mishael Morgan’s got other projects on her plate and requested a status change at the CBS soap opera as Amanda.
Recently, Mishael said that she decided to “take a bit of a step back from” The Young and the Restless as Amanda. The actress confirmed that she wants to “mix things up” in her career and that means a step back from playing Amanda Sinclair. But she’s not leaving for good.
So, you might have noticed Mishael’s not in the opening credits — that’s because she’s no longer on contract as Amanda — by her choice. This leaves questions of whether Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) splits with Amanda. And whether we’ll see her sister Imani around GC as much. Stay tuned.
Who is This “New” Guy Tucker McCall on Y&R
Ever since it came out that Trevor St. John (One Life to Live, Todd Manning), there’s been speculation over his role. Now that it’s revealed, everyone’s asking who is Tucker McCall on Young and the Restless.
Trevor St. John’s character showed up last week on US episodes, with no name mentioned. But in Canada, they learned on Friday that TSJ is indeed playing Tucker. So, if you didn’t watch back then, for sure Tucker’s a blast from the past. We reported a while back that he would play Tucker.
He was once married to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and seems to be back to woo her. Expect to see Ashley back very soon. Next week, Tucker McCall lands at the vow renewal in a helicopter, upsetting everyone.
The Newmans and Abbotts all hate Tucker — who’s the biological son of iconic Kay Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and also Devon’s bio-dad. So, this guy instantly riled up everyone. And it seems Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is doing Tucker McCall’s bidding. Lots more to come with him…
Audra Charles Complicates Lives on The Young and the Restless
Last week on The Young and the Restless, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) sauntered into GC to help Chancellor-Winters go public. She’s been chatting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and is tasked by Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to help with the C-W IPO.
But the big twist comes as she runs into Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and his girlfriend Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Remember the mystery woman who ripped out his heart and sent him scurrying back to town all depressed and mopy? That’s Audra!
