Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Tessa Porter Leaves Genoa City
It was not long ago that Tessa Porter married her love Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Then, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gifted them a trip to Paris for their honeymoon.
They just got back to town on Y&R. But already, The Young and the Restless comings and goings show signs of one-half the couple leaving town. As soon as they returned, Tessa mentioned her sore throat.
Then, Tessa Porter said she needed tea to get her pipes back in shape for her tour. So, it sure likes like Y&R writers are writing her out for a break. At present, Cait’s with her honey, fellow-musician Jay Randolph, in Palermo, Italy.
That means she’s not filming scenes as Tessa. So, look for more signs that the CBS soap songbird leaves GC despite the new marriage and adoption talk. But Cait Fairbanks leaving Young and the Restless for good seems unlikely.
Y&R Ins and Outs: Two Actresses Pregnant?
In addition to newly hitched Tessa taking off, there’s chatter that one or more actresses might have major life changes. We’ve heard that not one, but two, of the CBS soap’s female cast members, are pregnant.
Of course, this is not officially confirmed by either of them. It’s just chatter we have from a tipster. So far, neither are baby bumping in social pics, so we’ll take this with a grain of salt…
Who else might be leaving Young and the Restless in comings and goings? For now, there are big questions about there not being enough love interests to go around.
Since Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was written out, there are fewer single guys than needed versus single females. So, that means we’re either facing more love triangles (ick), female character exits, or hot new guys headed to town.
