Unexpected star Chloe Mendoza shared the story behind her daughter, Ava Schenzel‘s name. It was hard for her to pick the perfect name for her baby girl. However, she did have another one in mind before deciding on the one she went with.

Chloe Mendoza recently spoke about how she decided to name her daughter Ava Schenzel. The Unexpected cast member said that she has a lot of family members. So, it was hard picking a name that hasn’t been chosen already. She said that everyone wanted her to name her baby Grace. But, Chloe didn’t want it to be her first name. She thought it would sound better as a middle name.
The Unexpected reality star had her mind set on naming her daughter Avery Grace. But, Chloe Mendoza knew someone who had a baby named Adrie Grace. She thought the two names were too similar, so she went with Ava instead. Chloe said she came across the name and thought it fit. She also said that Ava Grace sounded “so beautiful” together. Chloe knows that it’s a “simple story.” However, she finds it funny when people say she made the right decision. She wonders if people would be saying the same thing if she had stuck with Avery.
Chloe Takes Daughter to the Dentist
Chloe Mendoza’s daughter, Ava Schenzel, is growing up fast. The Unexpected young mom recently took her little girl to get her teeth checked out. Chloe found out that all of Ava’s baby teeth are grown in. According to her, the dentist said that everything in Ava’s mouth looks good and that her teeth are “perfect.”
The Unexpected alum’s daughter, Ava, also got to sit in the “big girl” chair. Chloe Mendoza thought it was “super cute” seeing her little one sit in it. However, she was at the end of the chair holding Ava’s hands. But, Chloe said that she sat “perfectly still” on her own, which the dentist found impressive. Yet, she believes that Ava sat so still because she was scared.
Unexpected Mommy-Daughter Duo Have Water Park Fun
Once the visit to the dentist was over, Chloe Mendoza took her daughter to a water park. They spent the day at Great Wolf Lodge. Chloe and Ava Schenzel were excited to be going on a mini-vacation. Ava even got a new bathing suit for the family outing.
According to Chloe Mendoza from Unexpected, her little girl had a blast going down the water slides. She watched Ava go down the slides for 30 minutes before getting tired. However, Ava wanted to continue to go down them. So, Chloe had her family take turns watching Ava.
Chloe Mendoza and Ava Schenzel had a lot of fun together at the water park. The mommy-daughter duo also spent time relaxing and coloring in their hotel room. They even saw a live performance that they clapped and danced along to. It was a nice mini-getaway spending time with family.
