Tammy Slaton Confirms ‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 4 & Teases What We’ll See

Tammy Slaton‘s been in rehab for all of 2022, and 1000-lb Sisters fans wonder if she’s lost weight and what’s happening with her. As the last season ended, things looked really dire for Tammy. So, what did she say about season 4 and her health journey?

Tammy Slaton Still in Rehab — But Finally Speaks

As the season ended, Tammy was at the end of weeks of partying. She’d been drinking, vaping, and putting her health at risk. She acknowledged that to producers shooting her confessionals. And she also implied she’d been doing illegal drugs.

On TikTok, Tammy declared she was clean for two months and wasn’t an “alcoholic” or “pothead” anymore. So, it seems she’s confessed to a lot more than just drinking while in her downward spiral. And TLC cameras captured some of it.

Then, as 1000-lb Sisters Season 3 ended, Tammy admitted she needed help and was ready to go back to food rehab. And she let Chris Combs bundle her into the minivan to take her there. But, it didn’t last.

Tammy Slaton went into respiratory distress, and Chris gave an update. He said they had to move her from rehab to the hospital for treatment. That’s when doctors performed a tracheostomy to place a cannula in her throat (the hole for her breathing tool).

So, that’s been in place since last year. And Tammy went from the hospital to rehab where she’s remained for all off 2022, as SD was first to confirm. Now, she’s finally speaking out about the fate of their TLC show.

1000-lb Sisters Season 4 Confirmed — the Journey Continues

While in rehab in Ohio, Tammy Slaton frequently posts on TikTok, but it’s usually her playing with filters or grooving to music. This week, however, she finally spoke. It’s been quite a while since her fans have heard a word out of her mouth.

And Tammy had a lot to say. When asked for a weight loss update, she declined to give one. Instead, she said she’d “love to give” one. But fans “have to wait until season 4”. She waggled her fingers in a “four” (see below) as she confirmed the new season.

Officially, TLC hasn’t released word of another season. And we heard from an insider that her management company was releasing her because Tammy Slaton wasn’t progressing in her weight loss journey. There were rumors that 1000-lb Sisters was canceled.

But the season-ending life and death drama had viewers eager for more. So, it could be that the network planned to ditch the series. Then, Tammy’s near-death antics drew enough attention to get them one more season.

Has Tammy Slaton Lost Weight in Rehab?

It certainly looks like Tammy’s dropped some LBs while in the rehab facility. Her face is more defined and less puffy than it once was. Of course, this is a long road ahead. It’s not an overnight process. But, Dr. Charles Procter is invested in helping her.

Remember, he took a trek from Atlanta up to Dixon, Kentucky, to see Tammy on a TLC episode. He begged her to get healthy. So, he might be part of her process since he continues to work with her brother Chris and sister, Amy Slaton.

Now, as Tammy Slaton confirmed another season of their series, she also gave a health update. She said she’s “staying on track”. And she offered a thumbs-up gesture and said “everything is looking up” for her.

According to her brother Chris, Tammy dropped a whopping 115 pounds the first 30 days of rehab. So will we see a much slimmer Slaton soon? Are you excited to see the Slatons back for season 4?
