‘Sister Wives’: Tony Halts Joke Once Christine Starts to Cry – New Season Clues?
Sister Wives star Tony Padron played a joke on Christine Brown that made her eyes swell with tears. Her daughter, Mykelti Brown Padron was also in on this prank, which pushed the right buttons to make her mom cry.
Instead of a happy occasion, Christine believed this couple came to her with sad news. But that didn’t turn out to be the case. The Sister Wives divorced mom explained this latest debacle in a new TLC clip.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Gets Hit with News
Christine Brown said that Mykelti and Tony Padron stopped by for a visit with some news. Next, Christine said that it looked like serious news right away from the look on their faces. Then they lowered the boom.
It seems Mykelti and Tony Padron told his Sister Wives mother-in-law that they are moving. This bit of news hit Christine hard.
After all, she just relocated to Utah to be closer to her adult kids who live there. Mykelti and her little family live nearby. But so do Aspyn Brown Thompson and her husband Mitch Thompson.
So, Christine Brown enjoyed being near the family and her first biological grandchild. That’s her granddaughter, Avalon Padron. She is Mykelti and Tony’s 14-month-old daughter.
When Christine Brown heard that Tony, her daughter, and granddaughter were moving, she started to cry. They told her they were moving to Phoenix, Arizona, which is the same state she just left.
Tony Padron Puts on the Brakes
Christine said that Tony told Mykelti that they need to stop. She said Tony Padron told his wife that her mother is starting to cry. So, they stopped and told Christine Brown they weren’t moving. Then they told her what this was all about.
This Sister Wives’ mom of six found out that her daughter is pregnant. She was elated, those tears of sadness were gone. Then about a month later, an ultrasound image was put in this grandmother’s hand. Her daughter asked her what she thought about it.
Christine said she realized she wasn’t looking at only one baby. She could see that Mykelti is pregnant with twins. This blew her mind. She is about to become a grandma of twins.
Tony is not moving his little family, he and Mykelti are expanding their tribe. Christine Brown looked over-the-top happy as she told the story.
Sister Wives: Tony Comes a Long Way with Christine
TLC posted this clip over the weekend. So, it looks like the network is gearing up for Sister Wives Season 17. For the last decade, the mom of six demonstrated just how important her kids are to her.
So, it’s understandable that she’d cry if she thought Tony Padron was whisking his family away. But it sounds like it bothered Tony when Christine’s eyes teared up. Tony is known for his jokes. But it sounds as if he was more concerned about his mother-in-law’s well-being this time around.
Tony has come a long way from the days he sat planning their wedding. This is back in the day when Tony Padron caused friction for Kody Brown. He might have started on the wrong foot with Kody and Christine. But that doesn’t seem like the case today.
The Sister Wives’ divorced star raved about how Mykelti and Tony make great parents. So she has no doubt their new addition of two will just strengthen their family. Sure, she expects chaos for her daughter and Tony. With baby twins, crazy times will likely pop up. But good crazy times.
New Season Clues?
Christine Brown told this story to the TLC cameras. So, is this a clue on what to look forward to with Sister Wives Season 17?
But as far as this Sister Wives star is concerned, she’s nearby and will help her daughter. Plus, Aspyn will also be on hand when needed. The next big question has to do with the babies’ names. Will Mykelti continue naming her children after automobiles?
Avalon Padron was named after Mykelti’s first car. Maybe Tony Padron gets to name one of the babies after his first car. That could work as long as his first car wasn’t a Stingray or another awkward car name.
