Sister Wives: Kody Smashes Robyn’s Porch View in New Season 18 Promo
Sister Wives returns Kody Brown and Robyn Brown to the TLC screen with a vengeance as Season 18 rolls out next month. The network also revealed the official premiere date of the new season.
What you watched last season looks rather mild to what’s about to happen, The Season 18 promo video may leave you with an awful taste in your mouth. Especially after you get a load of what Kody dishes out from his patriarch pedestal in this new clip.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Wrecks Robyn Brown’s Future Porch Desires
It is no secret that Kody Brown is left with only one wife out of four. But what viewers didn’t see is how his wives got to their new place of independence from their shared husband.
This leaves Kody and Robyn as the only two in their polygamous pact. So, Robyn is distraught as monogamy doesn’t suit her.
It becomes clear in the video clip below that the destruction of the Sister Wives family doesn’t bother Kody as much as it does Robyn Brown. Whether TLC meant to make Robyn Brown look selfish or not, this promo did just that.
From the little bit seen here, it looks like her meltdown centers on a tremendous loss. She’s a wreck over her co-wives departing this polygamous marriage. But only because it messes up her future plans of sitting on a porch with her sister wives in her old age.
Kids Say Kody Welcome to Robyn
It looks like some of Kody’s adult kids see the writing on the wall. In one scene from the new preview clip, it sure sounds as if they’ve had enough of their Sister Wives papa. One son gives a sarcastic shout-out to his father about Robyn. He suggests that he continue to put all his eggs in her basket and live his life.
Janelle Brown‘s son Garrison Brown also throws into the conversation that most of his kids are adults now. So, he and the others no longer need a father figure.
You also get to watch as Janelle dismisses Kody from her life. While he doesn’t seem to feel a loss from all these departures, Robyn does.
Robyn Brown quivers, rattles, and shakes over a porch scene she envisions decades away. And Robyn’s sorrow comes from knowing this will never happen, thanks to Kody Brown.

But the other wives endure the pain. Their shared husband no long wants them for any form of intimacy. From what he’s said so far, it sounds like he’s decided to give up any form of bedroom activity in his relationships. That is of course, other than with Robyn.
Sister Wives: Acting Like the Devil He Is…
So, while Meri Brown cries and still holds on to hope, Robyn suffers greatly, or so it appears. Then Janelle tells the man she spiritually married decades ago to “f-off” as he walks out her door in a fit.
By this time, it looks like Christine is ahead of the game, as her decision was made a while back. But now during Season 18, you get to see the effect Kody’s new lifestyle of monogamy has on his four wives. Plus, you get to watch each one make their decision to leave.
Then there’s Robyn Brown, who by now is known to most Sister Wives’ viewers as Kody’s favorite wife. She has an excuse for Kody breaking up the family.
That is, Kody is going to do what he is going to do. Then Kody decides “I should just be the devil I think I am now.”

So, it looks like the Sister Wives patriarch gives himself permission to act like the devil. That’s because it sounds like he thinks his family already looks at him that way.
There’s one word the Sister Wives adults use to describe what’s going on. That’s “anger” and you get the feel for just how much anger surfaces when you watch this new TLC promo clip.
