Sister Wives celeb Kody Brown appeared to unintentionally reveal something about Robyn Brown that would change the game plan big time. As this season’s episodes rolled out, Sister Wives’ followers started to smell something fishy with Coyote Pass. That’s because this property sat vacant for so long.
Kody Brown dragged out that whiteboard presentation about two years ago. He used his Sister Wives motto, go-one-go-all while outlining his proposed move to Flagstaff. Right after that, the family settled on the purchase of their Coyote Pass land. But it still sits untouched today.
Sister Wives: Seed Planted for Kody Brown
The family made a few visits to their new land this season. But the viewers of Sister Wives saw nothing resembling the start of a building site on Coyote Pass. The land was the scene of an impromptu swimming party and one huge blowup among the adults.
The Sister Wives family also ate pizza, hot dogs, and hamburgers at the site before it turned into a parking lot for moving trucks. But that land still remains untouched as far as construction goes.
During this season of Sister Wives, Kody Brown offered a few clues of a possible new direction. It seems there are other uses for those building lots that grabbed his attention.
Kody Brown saw dollar sounds after a trip to his lawyer enlightened him on the rental draught in Flagstaff. But the Sister Wives patriarch met with dagger eyes from his four wives as he tried to explain how they can turn that land into mountains of cash.
It seems if Kody builds homes but rents them instead of moving into them he could make big bucks. But after the response from his Sister Wives, that seemed to be the end of that story.
As Soap Dirt previously reported, the land went up in value. It’s worth is now in the neighborhood of 33 percent more since they purchased it. They made this purchase for $820,000 about two years ago.
Back in December, its value rose to approximately a million dollars. This means Kody Brown could potentially realize a $300,000 profit after owning the land for less than two years.
So, just a quick sale of the land without so much as a shack on it would bring him quite the windfall. But as Robyn Brown protested they plan to build their forever homes on that property.
Does Robyn Brown Get Her Forever Home?
This land holds a dream for the four ladies of the Sister Wives clan. They envision replicating the Vegas cul-da-sac. This was a place they all agree offered the ideal living situation for plural marriage.
The plan is to build homes where the Sister Wives spouses will all grow old together. But Kody fancies himself a businessman and the new information about the land’s value continues to dance in his head. Now that the land is worth substantially more than what they purchased it for, what will his next move look like?
When Kody purchased Robyn Brown’s new house in Flagstaff, documents indicate he also purchased another building lot adjacent to that property. He claims he did that in case any of his adult kids decide to settle in Flagstaff.
But if that were the case, why not buy more land on or near Coyote Pass, close to where the family plans to live? Kody attempted to entice his friends to purchase land on Coyote Pass. So, this indicates there’s property available there.
As the episodes rolled out this season, the hints and clues continued to build. The latest Sister Wives episode shows Kody and Robyn Brown moving into the new house. But something he says offers another possible clue to his future plans. It also suggests where Robyn Brown may end up settling for good.
Sister Wives: Big Hint Comes Via a Prayer
The closing of Robyn’s house is delayed due to all the enmeshed finances of Kody Brown with his Sister Wives ladies. Instead of just Robyn and Kody needing to hand over their financial documents, more is needed. The bank also wants the documents for the other three wives’ finances as well.
Robyn Brown, along with Kody Brown rent the house day by day until the closing. But they moved in without a guarantee that they’ll be granted this mortgage. Now they look for divine intervention.
The family often prays before they embark on any venture. So, Kody calls the Sister Wives tribe together for a group prayer. When they arrive at Robyn Brown’s new home they get in a family huddle to pray. What the father of 18 said during this prayer waves a big red flag.
Kody Brown asks to bless them with a house closing “so we’ll be able to stay here permanently.” Robyn did say her next move would be her last. Is this Robyn Brown’s permanent home?
Kody already purchased an extra building lot next to this new property. So, as the season winds down and cliffhangers start to form, it looks like Coyote Pass is still a mystery. It also looks like Kody Brown and his indecision also offer a mystery as well.
