When the Sister Wives husband barged into Meri Brown’s live sales show last week, it looked like he was up to something. At first, viewers thought Kody Brown was rude as he interrupted. Fans also suggested Kody Brown was thinking of no one but himself. But fans wonder if the two were in cahoots.

Because Kody talked openly about his money problems this season, Sister Wives viewers know the family’s cash-strapped. Some believe it’s worse than he reveals. That because it looks like he’s still borrowing money against his properties.

Meri Brown live-streamed her customers last week in an attempt to stir up some sales. But, Kody Brown busted in to insist Meri sign some documents on the spot. Next, as her stunned customers watched, he told the first of the Sister Wives to photocopy the documents she’d signed.

Much to everyone’s surprise, she seemed happy to do this. Meri told her audience to give her a minute before she stepped away to make those copies. Meri shocked the audience, immediately giving in to her husband’s requests.

Most wives would probably shun this interruption. But then again, Meri Brown is not just an average wife. A little bit of conversation could be heard by the audience watching this Sister Wives pair.

It sounded as if one of the documents Meri signed was a title. But what the title was for, a house, a car, or even a book is unknown.

If that interaction between this Sister Wives duo wasn’t strange enough, their time on screen included a much more bizarre chat. Kody whined a bit about his stress level. He can’t sleep, and he can’t calm down, he tells Meri. That’s when his original matriarch popped in with CDB oil and talked about its calming effect. They got in a few lines that sounded like promotional, and they discussed it was an herbal supplement.

Kody Brown and his Sister Wives finances are in bad shape today — this is by his admission. Flagstaff tax records show they’re delinquent on property taxes, but it’s a modest sum.

But their back taxes fall under $1,000, so it’s not as if they’re in the rears for thousands. It leaves the fans scratching their heads – why didn’t they just pay this small bill? Now fans believe they’ve fallen on hard times with money problems.

So, the shocker isn’t that they owe taxes. What stuns fans is that they owe so little, yet they haven’t paid it yet. The total bill, which was due in December, is $937.95. That probably adds up to the cost of about a week’s worth of groceries for the Sister Wives tribe.

Whatever is going on financially for the family might have Kody just desperate enough to begin a new venture. Another TLC reality show, Seeking Sister Wife, Dimitri Snowden, started his own CBD products line.

The IT expert and fellow polygamist lives a good life. So, perhaps Dimitri caught Kody’s eye. Reports indicate he’s a financially sound guy also on the TLC network. At the very least, Kody had to know about Dimitri as a man looking to start his own Sister Wives family on the same network.

When the other polygamy show debuted, some thought this show would replace Kody Brown’s Sister Wives series. Well, that didn’t happen but Kody may have borrowed a page from Dimitri’s book. And… the Sister Wives fans who happen to watch Meri’s live show interruption by Kody might have seen their first commercial.

Were Kody and Meri merely role-playing for a sales ploy when he came busting in on her show? That interruption led to the two of them talking about stress and CBD oil. There’s no better place to start this fee advertising than on Meri’s social media that reaches over 400,000 followers.
