‘Sister Wives’: Christine Paints Sad Picture of Loneliness Without Kody Brown
Sister Wives celeb Christine Brown is feeling the loneliness that comes along with sharing Kody Brown and she battles it in a rather sad way. Sure, she has a few daughters at home and she’s very close to them. But spending time with her husband is what she seems to be missing. Still, it looks like she’s found other ways to focus on Kody.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Feels The Loneliness Now More Than Ever?
This Sister Wives bride knew what a polygamous marriage entailed. She grew up with several moms and one dad. But Christine might be more suited for monogamous marriage. This usually includes a full-time husband. But that’s not something Christine Brown will ever enjoy with Kody Brown since he has three other wives.
So, it seems Christine gets creative on those nights she’s lonely for Kody. During the last season of the Sister Wives series, Christine had a rough time. She wasn’t sure if she could remain in a marriage with Kody any longer.
This is nothing new, she’s been feeling left out for several years. Hints and clues to this popped up on her social media as well as the Sister Wives show.
Why Are Things Falling Apart Now?
While Kody Brown’s marriages don’t look much different from the day Sister Wives rolled out, one major aspect has changed. Christine Brown who was often described as the Kool-Aide mom out of the wives finds herself past that stage.
Other than Truely Brown, her kids are young adults. They have lives of their own to lead. Christine just became a biological grandmother for the first time. So the days of her house filled with Sister Wives tots are gone.
Christine did most of the childcare for all Kody Brown’s kids. She had a brood of little ones to care for while the other adults went to work. But again, those days are long gone. Back then Kody would join in with the mom of the child celebrating their birthday.

In a monogamous marriage, when you hit Kody and Christine’s age the husband and wife start to concentrate on themselves. The kids are off to college, getting married, and going off on their own. Most of Christine’s kids are at the age where the empty-nest syndrome comes into play for parents.
While that’s the case for the third bride of the Sister Wives clan, it’s not for Kody. He has little kids he still needs to raise with Robyn Brown. So Christine will never experience that time alone with her husband. The time when you get to rediscover your marriage together without kids underfoot.
Sister Wives: Watches Kody Brown From Afar
Last year, Christine Brown’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown offered a look into the daily activities of their household. She posted a photo of Christine and three of her daughters eating dessert together in her backyard.
Gwen also described how in the evening they might take a walk. Then they come home and watch TV. It seems the next best thing to home movies is starring in your own reality show.
Christine posted several photos over the years of the Sister Wives show playing out across her TV set at home. So, it seems they often watch themselves as their family graces the TV screen.
For Christine Brown, it sounds like this gives her a glimpse of the man she married when he is not at her home. So, for Christine, it looks like the next best thing to being there is watching your shared husband on television.
When fans caught wind of this many expressed their sadness. Fans thought it was sad to see someone so full of life as Christine missing so much because she opted for a Sister Wives’ marriage.
The thought of Christine Brown curling up on the couch and watching Kody Brown on TV created quite the discussion back then. But after watching the last Sister Wives season, it seems it didn’t change much for the mom of six.
So, veteran fans also understand why they witnessed Christine Brown suffer a meltdown last season on the TLC reality show.
