Return to Amish: Rebecca Schmucker Ready to Reunite with Husband
Rebecca Schmucker’s husband, Abe Schmucker, is a truck driver and is always on the road working. So, the Return to Amish alum is the one who takes care of the kids and holds the fort down at home. Rebecca is used to Abe being away from home. But, she recently said that she can’t wait for him to return this weekend. According to Rebecca, she misses her “better half” since he’s been on a delivery run for the past two weeks.
The Return to Amish reality star spoke about her hubby, Abe Schmucker’s job. Rebecca Schmucker shared that Abe bought his own 18-wheeler truck. Since making the big purchase, he has been working a lot. According to Rebecca, it hasn’t always been easy for them. But, she is grateful for all the help and support they get from family and friends.
Rebecca’s Kids Want to Be Amish?
Rebecca Schmucker is a proud mother to two daughters. The Return to Amish star is raising her children in the English world. However, her daughters are curious as to what it is like being Amish. But, it seems like Rebecca has no plans to go back to living under the strict rules of the community.
The Return to Amish TLC star can’t believe how fast her girls are growing up. Rebecca Schmucker thinks that her youngest, Malika, has become so “sassy and sweet.” She believes that her daughter is just like her father, Abe Schmucker. However, Rebecca is thankful that her little girl has her dad’s personality.
Return to Amish Celeb Gives Update on Family
Rebecca Schmucker may no longer be Amish, but she still has many close ties to the community. So, her daughters do get a taste of what their mother’s past life was like. Rebecca recently gave fans an update on her and Abe Schmucker’s relatives. Her mother-in-law, Mary Schmucker, is still Amish and currently living in Tennesse. However, Mary does go back to Pennsylvania to visit them.
Rebecca Schmucker from Return to Amish also shared an update on Abe Schmucker’s brother, Andrew. Fans met Andrew Schmucker on a Breaking Amish spin-off. He and his wife, Chapel, dealt with a lot of issues. Andrew had a criminal past, and Chapel had cancer. According to Rebecca, they are both doing very well. She said that Andrew had made many positive changes in his life. He and Chapel are also still married.
As for Rebecca Schmucker’s sister-in-law, Katie Ann Schmucker, she is now a mother to a baby girl. Katie Ann was also on the show and left the Amish community. But, she returned and now has a family of her own.
