My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Glenn Thore Comes Clean about Daughter
Whitney Thore sits down with her father, Glenn Thore, to learn more about her half-sister Angie. He tells her, Hunter Thore, and Buddy Bell, the story about his long-lost daughter. He reveals that he was on his way to Vietnam while in the Marines. However, they instead sent him to a school in Pensacola, Florida. They wanted him to learn how to intercept Russian code.

So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star met a young woman named Jackie while there. Whitney adds that this lady was an 18-year-old. He says that they dated during his time there. However, he was then sent to Japan.
When Glenn started his deployment, Jackie told him that she was pregnant. He explains that back in the sixties, having a child out of wedlock “was a real big deal.”
Glenn Unaware of Daughter’s Whereabouts after Adoption
Whitney then takes over the story. The TLC celeb tells her brother and Buddy that Jackie told her mother she was pregnant while their father was in Japan. She says Jackie’s mother freaked out and put her in a “girls’ home for pregnant women.” She eventually had the baby, Angie. However, she had to put her up for adoption.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member reveals that her father was still in Japan, and after the adoption, no one heard about Jackie again until early November 2022.
Whitney explains that Glenn’s sister Kim got on a DNA testing site and got a match. She got a message from a man named Cody. This man told her aunt he thinks she’s related to her mother. They then figure out that Glenn is Angie’s biological father.
The TLC celeb reveals that Glenn’s daughter’s whereabouts had been unknown since 1968. But that changed late last year—a month before Babs Thore’s passing.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Never Hears from Jackie Again
Whitney Thore recently gave even more details about Glenn Thore’s daughter that weren’t on the show. She adds that her father was 21 when he was dating Jackie. He had even brought this lady home to meet his family in North Carolina. While he was in Japan, his sister Karen took Jackie “under her wing” and moved her into her apartment in Wilmington.
But, when Jackie’s mother found out she was pregnant. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member reveals that she put her in a home for unwed mothers and told her to put the baby up for adoption. Her aunt Karen was there to witness the adoption and took a photo of the baby. However, after the adoption, no one heard from Jackie again.
