My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Misses Mother Babs Thore

Whitney Thore and her family dealt with a devasting loss late last year. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star’s mother passed away. After suffering from a few strokes, Babs Thore’s health declined, and she wasn’t able to recover.

Whitney was very close to her mother. She and Babs had a special bond. They even spent every day together during the pandemic. So, losing her mother wasn’t easy. However, she knew she had to be strong for her father, Glenn Thore, and the rest of her family.

It has been a couple of months since Babs Thore’s passing. Whitney Thore has been missing her “sweet mommy” lately. However, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star feels lucky to have a mother like her. She also knows that her mother is missed by many. She was a fan favorite on her TLC show.

Glenn Thore Enjoys Life in the Pool

Whitney Thore bought Glenn Thore swim trunks with cats on them. However, he couldn’t go swimming because most of his time was spent caring for Babs Thore.

So, after her passing, the TLC star thought taking Glenn swimming would be a good idea. And, now, it seems to be something he looks forward to doing.

Whitney has been trying to keep Glenn busy. She thought it would be good for them to work out together a few times a week. So, she recently went to the pool with her father. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member was happy to see Glenn “enjoy life a little bit” after the passing of Babs.

Whitney asks her father if he is excited about his water aerobics class. He tells her that “excited is not the word.” He is “ecstatic” to be back in the pool.

The TLC celeb reveals that she and her father have been out of the pool for a week. So, she has been catching Glenn Thore sitting in his recliner pretending to swim in mid-air.

Whitney Thore has been sharing her life with viewers for ten seasons. She has shared some of her best and worst moments. Viewers were with the TLC star as she and Glenn Thore tried to help Babs Thore recover. So, fans felt that they knew Babs.

When Babs passed away, many My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans said their condolences to the Thore family. They wrote kind messages to Whitney and Glenn. Some fans felt that they had lost a member of their own family.

Whitney is thankful for all the support she got from fans after the passing of Babs. She is grateful for everyone being “so sweet and supportive.” She also was happy to see how much people loved her mother.
