My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Keeps Glenn Thore Busy While Missing Babs Thore
Whitney Thore bought her father, Glenn Thore, swimming shorts with cats on them several months ago. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star asked him to go swimming with her. But caring for her mother, Babs Thore, took up most of his time and energy. So, they never went.

However, since Babs has passed away, Whitney Thore is looking for ways to keep her and Glenn Thore busy and active. Yet, more than anything, she is looking for ways to keep the father-daughter duo together.
Babs Thore passed away in early December 2022. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star had a few stokes. After suffering a severe one, she wasn’t able to recover. She had cerebral amyloid angiopathy. The condition causes proteins to build up on the walls of the arteries in the brain.
Whitney Thore & Glenn Go Swimming
Whitney Thore got Glenn Thore a membership to their local pool. It had been a long time since he swam. So, they have been spending time together doing water aerobics. She has also been teaching him about the different types of stroke techniques.
Whitney knows that her father has a lot of work to do on his mobility. So, she and Glenn made a commitment to work out with each other five days a week.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate is glad they made that commitment. She feels it is a good decision for herself and her father. Whitney loves her father. She wants to “protect him at all costs.”

Whitney Thore explains that it has been hard for her to get through each day. She finds herself wanting to be near her father all the time.
The TLC star feels that she is a “helicopter parent.” While swimming in the pool, she watches Glenn Thore exercising on the stationary bike. She says she is watching him “like a hawk.”
Whitney plans to share her and Glenn’s fitness journey with fans. And My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans are happy she is sharing these special moments with her and her dad.
