Glenn Thore lost the love of his life late last year. His wife, Babs Thore, passed away after suffering from a series of strokes. There was a glimmer of hope that she would see improvements in her health. However, she wasn’t able to recover from the last stroke.

In the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, cameras follow Glenn and his family as they say their final goodbyes to Babs. Whitney Thore admits that she doesn’t know how her family is going to go on without her. But she knows that her mother would want them to figure it out.
The TLC star admits that after losing Babs, the days and weeks ahead of him are going to be hard. When he stands around the kitchen table, it brings back memories of his wife.
Glenn Creates Bucket List
Whitney feels that her father is lost without Babs. She reveals that Glenn told her that he doesn’t want to do anything without her mother. Her brother, Hunter Thore, feels they must change their father’s attitude.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member thinks they should make Glenn a bucket list. So, they come up with different fun activities for their father to do. One of them is getting a tattoo. Hunter can’t believe that his father is going to get some ink.
Glenn also goes on his bucket list trip to Switzerland. However, the trip takes a turn for the worse when the train up to the glacier malfunctions. So, they are forced to take a helicopter down. But, the elevation of the mountain starts to make Whitney sick. She says that her head is hurting her.
The TLC celeb starts to worry about his daughter’s health. He just lost Babs and doesn’t want to lose Whitney too. So, they try to get her down as quickly as possible. The bucket list trip turns into a rescue mission.

Glenn Thore doesn’t just have two kids with Babs Thore. Before he met his wife, he had fathered a child out of wedlock. So, he decides it’s time to meet his daughter. Whitney Thore reveals that her father is going to call his daughter Angie. Who she explains is her half-sister.
Hunter Thore is still trying to adjust to the fact that he has a half-sister. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate and Whitney are about to meet their half-sibling for the first time. She can’t believe that it is happening. And gasps when she sees the lady walk toward her.
