‘Married At First Sight’: Olajuwon Wins Never Have I Ever – Recap [S14 E05]

This Married At First Sight recap sees Olajuwon Dickerson revealing some risky business in a game of “never have I ever”. Mark Maher tries to put the brakes on things with Lindsey Georgoulis, but it backfires.

Noi Phommasak is feeling the love but Steve Moy just says thank you. Alyssa Ellman throws tantrums anytime Chris Collette is in-sight. And Jasmina Outar sees another side of Michael Morency. Let’s see whose ship has sailed in this recap of Season 14, Episode 5 It’s Not A Shore Thing.

Married At First Sight: Olajuwon Dickerson Rocks the Boat

Olajuwon Dickerson isn’t afraid of his past coming to light. In fact, he’s pretty proud of the escapades done by his alter ego “Isaac”. He says he left Isaac in the past.

But it seems with the right amount of booze and opportunity, he could definitely make a comeback. Olajuwon is getting tough with Married At First Sight wifey Katina Goode in the gym. He shouts out orders and she isn’t a fan of this type of aggression.

Katina admits when she was younger this type of ab work bullying would’ve made her cry. Not to mention that Olajuwon sweats heavily in bed.

So, those few things aside, she’s going to power through. The MAFS gang goes on a catamaran group date. This time everyone even rides the same bus. Since Olajuwon admits Lindsey apologized for her earlier public transportation harassment.

Things get ugly fast once the boat docks in some blue waters. Lindsey Georgoulis admits to already being in love with Mark “the shark” Maher. Katina goes after Lindsey calling her old and rude.

And later the group plays “never have I ever”. Olajuwon Dickerson wants to know if anyone has hooked up with people in the same family. He admits that he once had a “beautiful experience with a mother and daughter”. And that he’s wide open to threesomes.

Mark The Shark Maher Needs to Slow the Roll on Married At First Sight

Mark Maher runs on Goldfish crackers and people-pleasing. He’s made the most of his first few days with hurricane Lindsey Georgoulis. And even consummated the marriage. He wishes she’d slow down on her drinking.

And not pick fights with the rest of the cast. So for breakfast, they choose a Pina Colada-making class. Mark surprises himself by getting an “A” from Lindsey for his bartending skills. But she reminds him she’d never date a bartender.

She’s also done with engineers. She calls them liars and cheaters. Who knew? On Married At First Sight, Mark sweats while explaining he once felt bad for an ex who had been treated badly after becoming pregnant.

This is a red flag for Lindsey. And she calls him out for being a “people pleaser”. Mark admits that he is. And that’s why she got that extra rum floater in her Pina Colada. Lindsey gets giddy when producers ask if they consummated the marriage.

But later, Mark Maher is feeling a tad overwhelmed. His wife is a category 5 at all times. And he thinks they need to slow it down. He tells her this over a “romantic dinner”.

Of course, this sets Lindsey Georgoulis off. She tells him if that’s the case he needs to quit clogging up the toilet and passing gas in front of her. Because reconstituted Parmesan Goldfish can really kill a mood. She storms off and Mark follows. But she asks him to step out.

Noi Phommasak Drops The L-Word

Steve Moy and Noi Phommasak are a cute couple on Married At First Sight. The pair joke about being shy to poop around each other. Mark Maher pops his head in with a plunger just in case.

But they are good. So good that Noi wanders off to talk to producers and admits she’s already catching feels. In fact, she thinks she could already be in love. She heads back to Steve and casually drops the L-word.

Steve looks like he’s seen a ghost and gives back a weak “thank you”. Noi Phommasak seems pretty disappointed with his reaction. Of course, Steve picks up on this.

And later confides to the guys that she had thrown it around like Olajuwon slings 5lb dumbbells. They guys stammer and stutter because well, it’s been 3 days. But Steve Moy will bring it up later to try and smooth things over.

Married At First Sight: Alyssa Ellman Throws a Tantrum

Alyssa Ellman makes no secret that she’s over Chris Collette. Before it even started. She’s willing to mope around the resort as long as production keeps him away.

She does agree to paddleboard with him because she finds it funny that he can’t stay on the board. But won’t join him when he agrees to try SNUBA. A mixture of snorkeling and scuba. She does take the time to body shame him before sitting down to a sad-looking salad onshore.

On Married At First Sight, she cries into her spring greens. And admits that even her mom is mad at her. Especially for making herself look bad on TV. She throws a fit when she sees Chris Collette approaching.

And asks that production “keep him away”. She whines that she isn’t happy. And that the experts failed her. Perhaps it’s time to send her packing. At this rate, things can’t get any worse for Chris.

Jasmina Outar Commands Respect

Jasmina Outar is pretty mad at her Married At First Sight match Michael Morency. During the catamaran ride, the question floated around of who had consummated their marriage.

Michael alluded that they hadn’t. And Jasmine said she preferred to develop an emotional connection first. Later, Michael accused her of cutting him off and demanded an apology.

Jasmina doesn’t think she did cut him off. And right now doesn’t even want to be in the same room with him. She wants respect and doesn’t care for how he talked to her.

Later, over dinner they talk it out and agree to put it behind them. Jasmina Outar isn’t going to apologize the way Michael Morency wants her to apologize. But she’s sorry he felt she cut him off. Michael accepts that apology and it’s all good for now. Till next time!
