‘Married At First Sight’ Recap: Mark The Shark Does Damage Control S14E04 ‘Bliss Brunches and Brawls Oh My (Part 1)’
On Married At First Sight, Mark Maher has his wife’s back after Lindsey Georgoulis starts drama on the way to the honeymoon in Puerto Rico. Alyssa Ellman hits the beach but needs socially distanced from hubby Chris Collette.
Olajuwon Dickerson doesn’t impress Katina Goode‘s friends at brunch. Noi Phommasak and Steve Moy seem to be coasting along pretty smoothly.

Married At First Sight Recap: Mark Maher Smooths Things Over
Mark Maher, who is also known as “Mark The Shark” finds himself navigating rough waters. His Married At First Sight match Lindsey Georgoulis is smitten with her husband.
She considers herself lucky to have landed Mark as her match. She even wins over his friends at lunch. And her family thinks Mark is perfect for Lindsey.
But warn him he needs to be able to tell her no. Her Dad even says it’s like taming a lion. Lindsey is a good sport when Mark reveals her family gifted him a button to push that says “no” out loud.
She’s impressed with his caring nature. And the pair bond over dealing with issues with their mothers. The couple’s head to Puerto Rico for the MAFS honeymoon.
And Lindsey Georgoulis oversteps some boundaries. Lindsey is well traveled and has been there several times. She mentions to castmate Olajuwon Dickerson that he considers speaking Spanish there.
This doesn’t sit well with Olajuwon or his bride Katina Goode. They say Lindsey even instigated a fight with Olajuwon. The way she tells it, he got aggressive with her.
And this leads to her and Mark taking a separate shuttle to the resort. Lindsey needs space. But Mark Maher goes to meet the others for drinks and smooth things over.
Olajuwon is receptive to Mark and wants to move on from it. But Katina Goode isn’t so sure she can take Lindsey for very long.

Olajuwon Dickerson Doesn’t Impress Katina Goode’s Friends on Married At First Sight
The couples meet up for brunch with friends and family of their new spouse. Thing go okay. But for Olajuwon Dickerson there is some tension.
Katina Goode’s friend Jelani isn’t buying that Olajuwon has the right intentions. He calls him out for wanting to “blow up” by being on the show.
Of course this doesn’t sit well with Olajuwon. And he expresses his doubts to Katina about her friend. But Katina worries if he is really ready for marriage on the Lifetime show.
Steve Moy meets up with Noi’s family on Married At First Sight. Her brother Michael, who raked him over the coals at the wedding isn’t letting him off easy.
Today he’s dressed as Sriracha. Not quite an alter ego, but a spicy side of Michael. Sriracha grills Steve Moy about his lack of work and love of travel.
And Noi’s mom flat out tells Steve he needs to get a job. Noi has a pleasant brunch with Steve’s folks. Noi wants to talk about Steve’s plan for the future. But he puts it off for now.
Michael Morency’s sisters welcome Jasmina Outar with open arms. But admit he can be kind of a “think the worst” kind of guy. They’re surprised to hear that all Jasmina’s relationships have been long distance.
But hope for the best for the MAFS match. Her mom is a little more skeptical. It’s concerning to her that Michael never had a male role model. But he assures her he’s a good protector and is in it for the right reasons.

Alyssa Ellman Checks Out Early
If it wasn’t for Lindsey Georgoulis starting drama, Alyssa Ellman could be feeling the heat. Alyssa refused to stay in the same room with Chris Colette on their wedding night.
Chris got her to talk without cameras later on. But she still didn’t give him a clear answer as to why she checked out of the Married At First Sight union so fast.
In the morning, Chris tries to talk to her over coffee but Alyssa still isn’t saying much. Chris admitted to Alyssa’s mom and friend that she wasn’t open to him.
They brushed it off as just her personality. And Alyssa’s mom admitted she likes Chris. Alyssa Ellman played dumb with Chris’s mom and friends.
Only to get mad when his friend warned her that he’s pretty consumed with his real estate career. And she might come second. This only gives Alyssa more ammunition to doubt Chris Colette.
On Married At First Sight, Alyssa agrees to hang around for the trip to Puerto Rico. Chris gets excited and suggests they do some exploring and shopping together.
But she’s quick to shoot that down. She really just wants to lay on the beach. Chris says okay and she clarifies to producers that she means without Chris.
Once they arrive, she avoids him and again gets her own room. By episode’s end the pair argue, and Chris calls her a liar as she storms out.
