Johnny went to an exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. There were beautiful pieces of jewelry that looked extremely expensive. Married at First Sight viewers said they knew he had a taste for the finer things in life, but they didn’t expect his joke.
Johnny Lam said, “Who wanna go on a jewel heist?” The Lester and Sue Smith Gem Vault seemed to be pretty tempting for Johnny. Despite this, it seems like he decided against a life of crime. Since he was out at the movies with Michaela Clark not long after, Married at First Sight fans saw he was doing fine.
Johnny from Lifetime enjoys going to a lot of these exhibits, which is why Bao Huong Hoang asked him to go with her over 15 years ago, Soap Dirt remembered. Despite their common interests, they didn’t work out but Married at First Sight watchers are glad to see they both moved on. Johnny Lam isn’t anyone’s favorite right now, but they have a new guy to hate from Season 13.
MAFS: Fans Hate Zack Freeman More than Johnny
Despite Johnny’s antics on Married at First Sight, fans say Zack is worse than him now. After the season ended, Zack Freeman started dating Bao and said he was serious about her. Sadly, it came out that he allegedly cheated on her with multiple people.
Johnny Lam was the most disliked cast member of Married at First Sight. But now, Zack took the cake, and it doesn’t seem like Johnny minds. In fact, it doesn’t seem like he wants to hang out with Zack Freeman since he was with Michaela at the movies.

This season might have been one of the messiest seasons in the franchise’s history, fans said. Fans begged the Married at First Sight experts to get things together. They said they couldn’t stand watching another train wreck season.

Johnny Lam from Lifetime isn’t slowing down after being Married at First Sight. He continues to actively play volleyball and hang out with every single wife from the show. Fans said it seemed like he enjoyed hanging out with the women from the show more than with the men.
In fact, he had Myrla Feria and another Married at First Sight wife, Rachel Gordillo, over to his house. They had Thanksgiving together, and fans noticed that Rachel didn’t have a ring on her finger. Many people said they felt confused about whether or not Rachel Gordillo and Jose San Miguel Jr are still together.
Johnny and Jose were best buds, but that might be in the past now. Whatever the case, fans said they are glad the season is finished and hope Johnny Lam doesn’t resort to criminal activities—no matter how beautiful the jewels are.
