The WEtv reality television personality says even though she is usually open and honest about her life, there are many things her fans don’t know about her.

Alana (Honey Boo Boo) Thompson of Mama June: Family Crisis admits to her social media followers that she is relieved that her high school days are now behind her.
Last weekend the WEtv reality star attended her high school graduation ceremony in front of her family and friends at Wilkinson County High School in McIntyre, Georgia.
The day was extra special for the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo celebrity. Alana is the youngest daughter of Mama June Shannon: Family Crisis star June Shannon. Fans who have followed June Shannon and her family from the start know that things have not been easy for the family.
In 2019, June made headlines when the reality television celebrity’s drug habit became public. June put her family through a nightmare. They admit there were many times they had no idea where their mother was.
Or if she was dead or alive. As a result, it was a difficult time for the family. June’s struggle with addiction and her road to sobriety has left her daughters with a lot of painful memories.
She says as hard as it all was. The battle between her sister Lauryn (Pumpkin) Efird and June Shannon over her custody nearly wrecked her. She admits to slipping into a deep depression. It was so difficult the child star says she believed she would never make it through high school.

The Mama June: Family Crisis cast member said this was a time that is hard for her to talk about. However, now she feels comfortable and secure enough to share her struggles with her fans. The teen admits the entire time June Shannon and Laryn Efird engaged in the custody battle she sank into a really bad deep depression.
It scared her to feel out of control. She said it was a dark time and ultimatley she was not in a healthy place mentally. Alana shares, “[Fourteen] to 16 was probably some of the toughest years of my life. [sic]. I had my doubts that I would never even graduate. I was in [a] really bad, deep depression throughout those years and honestly didn’t know what to do.”
Mama June: Family Crisis – Alana Is Ready for Her Next Chapter
Alana told her TikTok followers she was proud of herself. The reality TV cast member added, “Today I look at myself and I realize that I’m actually at peace with my life right now. I’m so happy, I can literally say I graduated with a 3.0 [and] in [August] I will be going to my dream college to be a neonatal nurse.”
Besides graduating from high school and looking forward to college and starting a career. She is also very happy in another area of her life. That is her relationship with Dralin Carswell. Things seem to be serious between the teen and Carswell.
The latest Mama June: Family Crisis rumors allege that the couple may be engaged and living together. So far she has not responded to the rumors. However, many believe the couple is eager to start their lives together officially now that she has finished high school.
Regardless of what plans Alana Thompson of Mama June: Family Crisis makes next, her followers are glad to hear that she is no longer depressed. She is making positive strides toward a successful and happy future.
