Life After Lockup star Derek Warner finds himself in a situation he can’t talk his way out of with his girlfriend Monique Robinson. Not only does his woman plan on coming at him, but she has brought plenty of backup. He is on unfamiliar turf in Chicago.
He has no one in his corner to have his back. So, when he gets backed into a corner by his girlfriend and her family, he decides his only recourse is to run.

Monique Robinson of Life After Lockup doesn’t trust her boyfriend, Derek Warner. He has given her more than enough reasons to mistrust him between all the cheating, lies, and shady behavior.
Despite everything she can’t cut ties with the Cleveland parolee. She felt something was up with him during their night out at the club. So when her family arrives to meet him, all his lies come to the surface.
He is grilled by his girlfriend’s family members. Her sisters are there, and cousins, her godmother, and the whole crew. They show him no mercy. They know he has not treated her as he should, and they have questions and demand answers.
Things are heating up and he is bumbling his words and messing up his lies. His back is against the wall, and he knows it. They all want to know what the Life After Lockup star hides in his phone.
They know it must be something serious or he would not have an issue with her looking through his texts and call logs. Things escalate when Derek Warner’s cell phone notification sounds off.
He received a text. He glances at the phone and gets a worried look on his face when his girl demands to know who is messaging him.
Derek’s Fast Talk Does No Good with WEtv Girlfriend’s Family
Monique’s Life After Lockup boyfriend knows he is in trouble. Everyone at the table harasses him asking him to hand over his phone to prove his innocence. His fast talk does no good. He knows he needs something fast. So, he grabs his phone and runs upstairs to the bathroom.

He is quicker than her and her family who are on his tail. By the time they get up the stairs, he comes out of the bathroom. She is upset and believes he deleted the message.
She finally checks his phone and sees that the message is missing. However, he has left his Instagram account up and open so she browses his history. She quickly sees he has been searching for the bottle girl who flirted with him the night before.
He also did not have enough time to delete everything so tells her the texts are old. Based on the dates, they are clearly recent. She is humiliated and hurt.
It also doesn’t help all this drama played out in front of her family. Her family says they hope this is it. They want her to end things with him and move on with her life.
Life After Lockup: Monique Shows Derek the Door
After Monique’s family leaves, she tells him to pack up his things and go. She doesn’t want him around and won’t let him stay another minute at her house.
Her actions surprise him. He felt he could talk his way around it but this time it was not working. Before he leaves he hurries to the kitchen to get the engagement ring he wanted to propose to her with and leaves.
Derek tells the WEtv camera during his confessional that he admits he messed up. But, he wants to marry her, and he plans on doing whatever it takes to get back in her good graces.
This time it may be more difficult though. He not only showed his shady nature to her but to her family as well. If they have anything to do with it he is history.
But Derek Warner is not giving up on Monique Robinson. Desperate times call for desperate actions. He knows he will need to make some bold moves fast if he ever hopes of winning the Life After Lockup star back.
